CHEMICAL CORROSION RESISTANCE:

Due to the POLY VINYL CHLORIDE characteristics, this product is able to withstand salty air from the sea and

HIGH REFLECTIVITY :
White vinyl roofs achieve some of the highest
reflectance and emittance measurements of which
roofing materials are capable. A white vinyl roof can
reflect 80% or more of the sun’s rays and emit at
least 70% of the solar radiation that the building
absorbs, making it a more sustainable roofing
option. An asphalt roof only reflects between 6%-
26% of solar radiation, resulting in greater heat
transfer to the buildings interior and greater demand
for air conditioning – and strains both operating
costs and the electric power grids. Net annual
energy savings are typical even in northern
climates. Cool roofs can have more impact on
energy cost than energy usage, cutting consumption
during peak power demands when the rates are the
highest.

Disadvantages of Other Insulation Materials:

Fiberglass first entered the market in 1930, it is the most widely used insulating material in the world. Which is
why there are concerns that it may cause cancer and needs to be taken seriously.
Many people know the pain that often comes from working with fiberglass.
When working with or installing this material, the small fibres can be swallowed or inhaled. These small
particles may remain in your lungs for long periods of time. Eventually leading to health problems like cancer
and other respiratory problems.

Because it is made up of very tiny sharp particles, fiberglass will often give you a very painful rash if it comes
into contact with your skin. This can be very dangerous if it touches your face or eyes. Fiberglass is also known
to cause problems with breathing while it is being handled, thus necessitating the use of masks, gloves, and
protective eye wear. This material also has a tendency to settle and sink down into the wall over time, reducing
the amount of protection that it provides.

About Vinyl Fire Performance FAITH TECNOLOGIES SDN BHD

Vinyl roofing membranes are inherently fire resistant. Polyvinyl chloride (vinyl or UPVC) is a natural fire resistant
polymer – a distinction between it and all other plastics. Vinyl membranes contain additional fire resistance which
makes them slow to catch on fire and spread. It is also self-extinguishing when the sources of heat or flames are

The test compares the behaviour of three common commercial multi layer roofing materials – vinyl or UPVC, TPO and
EPDM – after they are ignited by a Bunsen burner flame.
In the test, the vinyl sample self-extinguishes in seconds (13 in one, 12 in the other) after the flame source is removed,
while the other two samples continue to burn between 3 to 6 minutes before they are completely consumed. Read the

UPVC roofs have passed applicable Factory Mutual (FM) and Underwriters Laboratories (UL) tests for Class A and B
roof assembly for high and low slope roof applications. UL and FM ratings are specific to individual roofing membrane
manufacturers. Check with each company's technical department for company-specific ratings.

This evaluation represents two different types of roofing materials.
The evaluation test was conducted to examine the noise profile created by two different types
of roofing materials. The two different types of roofing materials are :-

Solar Reflectivity

Some studies show that at least 65% of a building’s heat comes through the roof. Therefore, proper roof
design is a priority. To do this, one has to have a good understanding of how heat from solar radiation is
transferred into the buildings.
Heat Transfer Mechanism

When sunlight makes contact with the roof, a percentage of the solar radiation is deflected. The remaining
percentage that is not deflected is absorbed by the roof as heat. Now, a portion of the retained heat will be
emitted back in the form of infrared (IR) radiation. Another portion of heat is also carried away from the roof
surface through convection. Whatever heat that remains flows through the roof. From the roof, the amount of
heat that reaches the space below the roof will be determined by the insulated properties of the roofing
materials and the difference in temperatures on either side of the roof.

The Warranty for Eco Roofing UPVC Multi Layer.

Manufactured in accordance to client's orders and free
from defects in materials for a minimum period of (10) ten years only for minimum thickness of 2.00mm
and usage condition from the date of Installation.

THIS WARRANTY IS SUBJECTED TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS & CONDITIONS :

1) The product is installed strictly in accordance to the Manufacturer's specifications and

recommendations at the time of installation .

2) All installations and accessories must be approved or produced by the Manufacturer .

3) Attacks from chemical agents, organic solvents, fumes, liquids, and solids other than direct
rain falling onto the products are still under warranty .

4) Third party performances or wholly due to the following causes are not covered by this warranty :-
F Mechanical, chemical ( Organic or otherwise ) or other damages sustained during handling,
storage, installing or subsequent to installation .
F Storm and tempest or other Acts of God .
F Contact with or failure to remove any corrosive agents and moisture retaining substances.
F Failure to provide proper drainage system to maintain and keep the products from trapping
water or other liquids including internal condensation .
F Cracking, contortions and any damage of the products caused by supporting battens and purlins.
F Tampering, alterations or repairing by any unauthorized personnel.

5) Should there be any cracking or perforation occurring during the warranty period, the
Manufacturer shall be limited exclusively to replace those affected sheets free of charge
with no extra labour costs.

6) The Manufacturer shall not be liable for any injury to persons, damage to property or any
consequential damage arising from the use of the products .

7) This warranty is solely extended to the owner of the specific project and is given in lieu of
all other conditions or warranties implied except to the extent that any law applicable to this
contract prevents the exclusion, restriction or modifications of such conditions of warranties.
