1. If bearings (24) have been removed, use Tooling (G) to install the pivot shaft bearings in the track
roller frame.

2. Put Tooling (H) on the surface of sleeve (23). Put the sleeve in position in the track roller frame
and install the sleeve with Tooling (J).

3. Put Tooling (H) on the bore of seal retainer (20). Use a press to install seal (21) in seal retainer
(20) until the seal seats in the seal retainer.

4. Put Tooling (H) on the surface of the sleeve that makes contact with the seal.

5. Install Tooling (K) into the track roller frame.

6. Put the seal and seal retainer (20) in position on Tooling (L) and the sleeve.

7. Install the seal and seal retainer (20) on the sleeve with Tooling (L) until the seal makes contact
with the shoulder of the sleeve.

8. Lower the temperature of plate (22). Install the plate in the seal retainer so that the plate is even
with the surface of the seal retainer.

9. Install O-ring seal (19) in the seal retainer. Put clean SAE 30 oil on the O-ring seal.

10. Fasten a suitable lifting device and Tooling (E) to track roller frame (18). The weight of the
standard track roller frame is approximately 5536 kg (12204 lb). The weight of the heavy track

roller frame is approximately 5679 kg (12520 lb). Put the track roller frame in position on the
pivot shaft.

11. Install O-ring seal (26) on plate (17). Install the thrust ring and plate (17) against the pivot shaft.
Install the bolts that hold the plate in place. Torque the bolts to 270 ± 40 N·m (200 ± 30 lb ft).
