    Construction of Slope Protection and the Candelaria Fire Station Multi Purpose Hall

    As communities grow, new land developments will pop up as more people will be needing better
    amenities. So, it's very important for local leaders to continuously evaluate , renovate and also innovate
    the location of their public safety and protection facilities. The Bureau of Fire Protection Candelaria Fire
    Station, headed by its current Municipal Fire Marshal FSINSP CHARLIE N BELTRAN, recently
    received a major renovation from the ever supportive Local Government Unit of Candelaria headed by its
    Municipal Mayor HON GEORGE D SUAYAN.

    Last 15 February 2023, the construction of Slope Protection at Quiapo River Banks commenced leading
    to a safer fire station that houses the thirty four (33) active duty personnel. After the construction of the
    above-mentioned project, the construction of Candelaria Fire Station multi purpose Hall simultaneously
    followed. This major renovation will allow Candelaria Fire Station for an increased response capability in
    the municipality. This station improvement will also allow for the placement of additional apparatus and
    personnel to increase operational readiness and even training . Indeed, this renovation fits the overall
    vision of the Bureau of Fire Protection of a modern fire service fully capable of ensuring a fire -safe
    nation by 2034. It will contribute to the overall functionality of Candelaria Fire Station as well as help in
    the enhancement of firefighter comfort and safety and of course add a sense of prestige and identity in
    the eyes of the community.

    Inauguration and Blessing of Candelaria Multi Purpose Hall and Lot Title Handover Ceremony

    Last 24 May 2023 marks a ceremonial day for Candelaria Fire Station as key officers from both the
    Local Government Unit of Candelaria and the Bureau of Fire Protection have all been gathered to witness
    two significant events in one sitting. These key officers indeed have been gathered as we are mutually
    united with a vision of a fire safe nation by 2034.

    The ceremonial program was hosted by two Emcees representing the Local Government Unit of
    Candelaria as well as the Bureau of Fire Protection: Executive Assistant to the Municipal Mayor Mr .
    James Daryl Rumbaoa and SFO1 Marie Krystle A Gamier.
    Through his unwavering faith and trust to the operational capabilities of BFP particularly Candelaria Fire
    Station, various milestones were achieved and are continously being reached . Municipal Vice Mayor
    HON MACARIO D BOONGALING formally welcomed everyone to the event.

    His invaluable efforts, unswerving dedication and stern commitment as the father of our Municipality
    manifested in his remarkable support to the BFP’s campaign towards a fire -safe community that led to
    the overall attainment of BFP’s mission-vision. Our Municipal Mayor HON GEORGE D SUAYAN
    then shared a timely message.

    Our Regional Director CSUPT JAIME DOLLENTE RAMIREZ, then seized the moment to introduce our
    Guest of Honor CSUPT JESUS P FERNANDEZ. In his message, he shared how thankful he is for the
    support that the Bureau of Fire Protection is continuously receiving from the Local Government Unit of
    Candelaria. He also stated that through their support, Candelaria Fire Station will continue to provide
    services more than ever.

    No words can express how grateful the Bureau of Fire Protection is for the unwavering support we
    receive from the Local Government Unit of Candelaria as well as from our valued Stakeholders . Thus an
    Audio Visual Presentation, was delivered to express the sincerest gratitude .

    Blessing a new building is important because it is a powerful way to invite positive energy, protection
    and prosperity into the space. It is also a way to honor the spiritual significance of the newly built
    establishment. REV. FR. ARCHITO L JACETA was called for the blessing and inauguration of
    Candelaria Fire Station Multi Purpose Hall.

    It is truly such a wonderful feat to witness the LGU and the community working hand in hand with the
    Bureau of Fire Protection to further strengthen its initiatives to promote fire safety and prevention . The
    Bureau of Fire Protection will be forever grateful for the support and trust you give to us. Rest assured
    we will continue to uphold our commitment by providing the community with quality public service as
    well as pursuing our public information advocacies.
