A. Design Implementation and Manufacturing process

1. Proper identification of prototype techniques.

Material selection: The material identification for pen holder and magnetic wireless
charger stand can vary depending on the specific product. However, some common
materials used for these products include:
Sketch or create a visual representation: Using your research and inspirations,
create rough sketches or digital designs of your ideal soy candle prototype. Focus on
capturing the key elements, such as the shape of the container, the style of the label or
packaging, and any unique features you want to include.
Create a test batch: Once you have a clear vision and design, create a small test
batch of soy candles using your selected materials. This will serve as the initial
prototype for evaluating the appearance, fragrance, burn time, and overall
performance of the candle.
Repeat and iterate: Continue the process of creating new prototypes based on the
feedback and improvements made. Make changes to the design, fragrance, packaging.

b. 1.2 SDM GOALS :-

SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production - Promote sustainable
consumption and production patterns by choosing pencil holders and magnetic
stands made from eco-friendly materials, encouraging recycling or reuse, and
reducing waste in the manufacturing process.
SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure - Support sustainable
industrialization and innovation by encouraging the development and use of energy-
efficient and eco-friendly technologies in the production of pencil holders and
magnetic stands.
SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities - Enhance sustainability in urban areas
by designing pencil holders and magnetic stands that promote organization and
reduce clutter in workspaces, contributing to a more efficient and sustainable use of
resources.

3
SDG 13: Climate Action - Address climate change by opting for pencil holders and
magnetic stands made from low-carbon or recycled materials, thereby reducing
greenhouse gas emissions and environmental impact.

1.Materials used

➢ Plywood
➢ Gum
➢ Charger cable
➢ Attachable sharpner
➢ Time and Temperature digital meter

2. Manufacturing methods used (Write the steps involved in making the product – with photos of you)

Design and Prototyping: Create the initial design concept for the pen pencil holder and
magnetic wireless charger. Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to develop detailed
2D or 3D models. Once the design is finalized, prototypes are created to test functionality
and assess any necessary design modifications.
Material Sourcing: Identify and source the required materials for manufacturing. This may
include plastic, metal, magnets, electronic components, and other materials based on the
design specifications. Consider factors such as quality, availability, and sustainability of the
materials.
Tooling and Mold Creation: If the pen pencil holder or magnetic wireless charger involves
plastic components, molds or tools are created. This process may involve CNC machining or
other techniques to fabricate the molds required for injection molding.
Component Production: Fabricate the individual components of the pen pencil holder and
magnetic wireless charger. This can include processes such as injection molding for plastic
components, CNC machining for metal parts, and electronic assembly for the charging
components.
Surface Finishing: Perform surface finishing processes on the components to achieve the
desired appearance and texture. This may include techniques such as sanding, polishing,
painting, or coating.
Assembly: Assemble the different components of the pen pencil holder and magnetic
wireless charger. This can involve various techniques like snap-fit assembly, adhesive
bonding, mechanical fastening, or soldering for electronic components.
4
3. Accuracy of prototype with design developed

2.Functional characteristics of prototype

1. Use eco-friendly materials: Aim to create or purchase pen pencil holders and
magnetic wireless stands made from sustainable materials such as recycled plastic,
bamboo, or FSC-certified wood.
2. Minimal packaging: Opt for products that have minimal or eco-friendly packaging.
Look for options that use recycled or biodegradable materials for packaging or choose
products with no packaging at all.
3. Energy efficiency: If the magnetic wireless stand includes a charging component,
prioritize models that are energy-efficient. Look for stands that have smart charging
technology to minimize energy consumption and reduce standby power.
4. Recyclable or biodegradable: Ensure that both the pen pencil holder and magnetic
wireless stand are either recyclable at the end of their lifecycle or made from
biodegradable materials. This way, they can be disposed of in an environmentally
friendly manner.

5
5. Multi-functional design: Consider pen pencil holders and magnetic wireless stands
that serve multiple purposes. For example, look for stands that can hold not only a
wireless charger but also other items like pens, notebooks, or even small desk plants.
This reduces the need for separate items and promotes a clutter-free workspace.

B. Testing and Evaluation

1. Material testing

• Use a multimeter to test the electrical connections and ensure they are functioning
correctly.
• Check if the wire charger is providing power to compatible devices.

2. Product Performance Evaluation.

Despite the importance of quality education, there are several challenges in
providing it. These challenges include a lack of resources, inadequate infrastructure,
a shortage of trained teachers, and limited access to education, particularly in
remote and marginalized areas.

The pen holder may not be strong enough to hold the weight of the phone. This can
cause the phone to fall out of the holder, or it can damage the phone if it falls. The
magnetic field from the wireless charger may interfere with the pen holder. This can
cause the pens to stick together, or it can prevent the pens from being inserted into
the holder properly.

The wire charger may not be able to charge the phone properly if it is covered by the
pen holder. This is because the wireless charger needs to be able to make direct
6
contact with the phone's charging coil in order to charge it. To avoid these problems,
it is important to choose a pen holder that is designed for use with a magnetic
wireless charger.

These holders are typically made of a strong material that can support the weight of
the phone, and they have a design that allows the wireless charger to make direct
contact with the phone's charging coil.

3. Target Accomplishment.
Aim to increase our market share and reach a wider customer base. And Set a targets
for expanding distribution channels, entering new markets, or increasing brand
visibility.
If sustainability is a core value of our brand, set targets for reducing the carbon
footprint, using eco-friendly packaging, or supporting environmental initiatives.
Establish our brand as a reputable and recognizable name in the soy candle industry.
Set targets for brand awareness, social media followers, or press mentions.

4. Efficiency of Product performance.

• Multi functional holder use to hold more stationary things instead 0f using more
holders.
• Wire charge wire is tow in one cable it use for both b-type and c-type mobiles
• It is eco friendly .it Easley dissolve in soil

5. Customer feedback collected (In Video format).

2.Technical knowledge about the processes.

Learning on shape is major thing we gained in this process. It is a CAD software. the
designing in on shape is used in real life for the lot of the things. Designing a product,
converting into 3D model. The key feature of the designing software is to
present the 3d model.

3. Communication / Presentation Skill.

Good communication skills involve being able to express your ideas, thoughts, and feelings in a
clear and concise manner. This means that you should be able to adjust your communication style to
suit the audience you are speaking use of modern tools, machinery and other equipment.
Presentation skills are also important in many areas. When giving a presentation, it is important to be
organized, engaging, and to present your ideas in a very that is easy to understand.

4.Leadership quality.

4.Problem solving skills to help the team navigate any potential challenges that come up.
5.Good organizational skills to keep track of tasks and progress.

5. Experimental / Participative learning as a team.

Our team members have used and experimented on several design of soy candle and came
to a conclusion of the design. We also considered the environmental impact of all these soy
candle. once we got a plan, we started working together to develop prototype.
