    WEEK 04 - TASK: ASSIGNMENT - SOMEONE
    THAT I ADMIRE
    Through this activity, students create a dialog talking about people they admire, using
    present perfect and the vocabulary learned during the week. Then, they share it in a
    short video (3-5 minutes).
     
    Step 1:

    Think of a well-known person you admire and answer the following question: What is
    his/her most important achievement? (Use present perfect)

    Some possible choices: Mario Vargas Llosa, Gaston Acurio, Gladys Tejeda,


    Eduardo Añaños, Natalia Malaga, etc.

    Jose José was born on February 17, 1948 in
    PERSONAL DETAILS Mexico City.

    He is considered a musical icon in the


    second half of the 20th century. His legacy
    LIFE STORY and career as a singer earned him the
    nickname of The Prince of Song.

    He decided to do his will and got small


    contracts to sing in popular cafes like, Her
    ACHIEVEMENTS first album came in 1965. Later, he made
    appearances on television, was part of a
    jazz and bossa nova trio called Los Peg. His
    first songs were Only a woman, But I miss
    you and Without her. At that time he
    adopted the stage name José José.

    On July 22, 2021, the Central Reserve Bank
    of Peru put into circulation a new S/ 100 bill,
    in which it pays tribute to Pedro Paulet,
    with a design made by the company De La
    Rue

    Gian Marco Javier Zignago Alcover, born in
    PERSONAL DETAILS Lima on August 17, 1970, better known just
    like Gian Marco
    he is a singer-songwriter, composer,
    musician.
    He married Claudia Moro and had three
    children.
    LIFE STORY
    He has He received 3 Latin Grammy Awards
    for his talent.
    In addition, he has been designated as
    UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador. (The project
    ACHIEVEMENTS is important because it helps low-income
    people). In conclusion, he has been a very
    successful and recognized singer in Peru.

    Lourdes:
    To Pedro Paulet Mostajo because is considered a pioneer of Astronautics
    and the Space Age, also because The first sounding rocket manufactured
