of Chapters 1 to 5 (Introduction; Review of Related Literature; Methodology; Discussion of
Results and Analysis; Summary, Conclusions, and Recommendations) and the final research
defense. This final manuscript is an integration of the contents of Chapters 1 to 5 and it
addresses the feedback from the final research defense.

Task Goal
At the end of the task, you should have demonstrated knowledge of the qualitative research
process by writing a qualitative research paper with sound findings and conclusions using
appropriate literature, data collection methods, and data analysis procedures.

Subject Performance Standards

To be able to complete this culminating task, you are expected to have met the following
performance standards:
● Decide on suitable qualitative research in different areas of interest.
● Formulate clearly the statement of the research problem.
● Select, cite, and synthesize properly related literature according to ethical standards.
● Present written review of related literature.
● Describe qualitative research designs, sample, and data collection and analysis
procedures.
● Gather relevant information with intellectual honesty.

Relevance in Real Life

This final manuscript of this qualitative research puts together the outputs across the different
stages of the research process. From contextualizing the research problem, forming the
conceptual framework, reviewing related literature, designing a methodology, collecting data,
analyzing and reporting findings, and drawing conclusions and recommendations, the
accomplishment of these tasks aims to assess the student’s knowledge of qualitative research
methods. Knowledge in qualitative research is important in making an objective and
