CONTENTS
Each
DC
starter/generator
and
ACW
generator
is
associated
with
a
Generator
Control
Unit
(GCU),
connecXng
it
to
its
related
channel
and
providing
protecXon
and
fault
detecXon.
Two
Bus
Power
Control
Units
(BPCU),one
connected
to
the
DC
GCU's
and
the
other
one
connected
to
the
ACW
GCU's
control
main
buses-‐Xe,
load
shedding
and
external
power.

thermal

sensor

switch,

only
one

thermal
switch
conXnuously

the
ba\ery
temperature
status
and
in
case
of
abnormal
overtemperature,
it
interrupts
the
charge
phase
disconnecXng
the
ba\ery
from
main
bus.
Main

emer
ba\eries
are
mounted
on
shelf

equipped
with
a
plug
to
mate
with
the
