Think about this: If you do these tricks the new menus can not be erased after the procedure. But it's
not dangerous or harmful for your phone
To enable the headset-function, you have to short-circuit the "3" and "4". After a short time there is
"Headset" on the display Now, menu 3-6 is now enabled!
To enable the carkit-function you have to short-circuit the "4" and "5". After a short time, "Car" is shown
on the display and the menu 3-7 is enabled!!
This Trick is for you how want to hear more then your supposed to !
If you short-circuit the left and the right contact with the middle contact ("3", "6" and "9") the Nokia
Software hangs! The profile "Headset" will be activated. Before you do this, just active the "auto call
receive" function in the headphone profile and set the ringing volume to "mute" Now you can use your
phone for checking out what people are talking about in a room. Place the phone somewhere stratidic
and call your phone! The phone receives the call without ringing and you can listen to what people are
talking about! .....gr8...
Note: you must turn off the phone to exit after this test, because of the last function, "transfer user
data" which doesn't work as "standard"....You can use this mode only to transfer all Calender, Profile
and Callers Group Information to another phone (eg. if you are replacing phone or configuring phones
for use within your company or when a particular phone doesn't works correctly )

Enhanced Full Rate will give you much better sound quality when you enable it. The new Enhanced Full
Rate CODEC adopted by GSM uses the ASELP (AlgebraicCode Excitation Linear Prediction) compression
technology. This technology allows for much great voice quality in the same number of bits as the older
Full Rate CODEC. The older technology was called LPC-RPE (Linear Prediction Coding with Regular Pulse
Excitation). Both operate at 13 kilobits.(but you take up more space on the network, so they can charge
you more) - Talk-time is reduced with about 5%

Details
Erricson Mobile Phone allows attackers to wiretap other lines. This attack is limited, since you cannot
choose which number to wiretap on, and you cannot talk at the same time that you are wiretapping a
line. This vulnerability shows the lack of security of WAP as it is offered in today's cellular networks.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Wiretapping is illegal. The following information is just a proof of concept that shows
a potential vulnerability in Erricson's WAP implementation.
Additional information
The information has been provided by Pirsing, ::: m0sad team :::.

Instead of paying for your messages, you can alter a number in your phone to send to a different centre.
This cannot charge you, and consequently you have free SMS!
When you send a text message, it is first transmitted to your network's routing centre, called the Short
Message Service Centre, or SMSC. This SMSC is generally a telephone number, normally a memorable
one- i.e. Orange's is 0973 100973. Here, it is sent to the recipient's network's SMSC, where it is then
forwarded to their phone. The whole process takes only seconds, but the vital part is when it reaches
your SMSC, because then it is forwarded, and you are charged according to your tariff. If you, however,
change your SMSC number to one below, the network who forward the message will not know who you
are, and consequently cannot charge you. Clever huh?
No! It can take hours to find a number that hasn't been blocked by your network- they usually carry out
checks monthly and bar any numbers known to be forwarding SMS. Also, I understand that Orange and
all networks in Denmark have barred all numbers aside from their own- so it won't work with Orange or
Danish networks.
