human resources to launch a new firm, operationalizes it, and assumes responsibility for its
success or failure (Worthington, 2021). Being an entrepreneur is probably easier but to be a

creativity, flexibility, and the ability to motivate others. An entrepreneur's benefits are many.

3
Key skills required to be a successful entrepreneur
A successful entrepreneur must be able to show a positive attitude, effectively communicate
flexible behavior, focus on creativity, ability to motivate employees, and learn from the
environment (Deeds, 2015). Continuous learning is not only an essential commercial talent but
also a highly useful life skill. Essential skills are described below.

Communication Skills

It refers to an individual's ability to exchange different types of information with partners,

clients, and other stakeholders. Communication skill enables one to interact with others
and make a presence felt in a debate or gathering (Whyman, Baimbridge, Buraimo, and Petrescu,
2014). Being able to interact successfully with colleagues in a team can help to generate trust,
improve professional connections, enhance teamwork and increase productivity. Improving
communication abilities is an absolute necessity for each professional (Alger and Crowley, 2012).
It will assist to improve job performance and enhance careers. In the current world of
information technology, an entrepreneur must possess communication skills because it is
necessary to enhance their external and internal networking (Coffelt, Grauman, and Smith,
2019). Effective communication skills typically involve interacting, speaking, analyzing,
listening, understanding, responding, and observing the situation. In addition, it is also useful to
properly understand the distinctions between face-to-face contacts, telephone discussions, and
online communications such as electronic mail and social media. It improves the maximum
number of team members' involvement, enhances and strengthens the customer relationship, and
builds trustworthiness and productivity (Salmon and Young, 2011). Having communication
skills makes an entrepreneur successful and different from competitors.

Innovative thinking or creativity

It significantly impacts the organization's goals. Innovative entrepreneurs seem to be the activity
of developing innovative business concepts to generate profit, assist the community, and achieve
company objectives (Dou, Li, and Jia, 2021). Innovative entrepreneurs create a business structure
to assess a company’s needs and increase its market competitiveness. Entrepreneurs must be
enthusiastic about their ideas, objectives, and their organization. This ambition is the driving
force behind their actions (Wortley, 2019). Some entrepreneurs enjoy the risk and excitement to

4
create something unique, on the other hand, lose interest in the workplace at once, and if it is
established then the attitude move on to something else. The majority of entrepreneurs employ
unique ideas to establish a new company model to improve existing ones. They can utilize this
incentive to create innovative business strategies for long-term benefits. Creativity enhances the
problem-solving process. It makes no difference whether we are discussing the creation of a
fresh strategy or an inventive technique to keep relevant and competitive (Morad, Ragonis, and
Barak, 2021). Innovative issue solving provides the competitive advantage that every
organization seeks. In this competitive world, innovative skill makes competitors irrelevant and
also gets the opportunity to enter a new market. It is advantageous for a successful entrepreneur
to be unique.

Ability to motivate others

These abilities are also called motivational leadership skills where the leaders may utilize their
abilities to encourage and motivate their coworkers to achieve organizational success. Leaders
may also utilize their motivating abilities to encourage their employees (Westra and Aviram,
2013). It improves individual connectivity. By motivating others organization can get higher
productivity from coworkers and other stakeholders. It will also develop organizational
innovation. Motivating the organizational staff with rewards and other advantages will create an
innovative culture inside the organization. When an individual feels valued and gets supported
by the organization then they are highly inspired to take on other new challenges. As a result, the
significance of motivation in their workplace should not be reduced, as it enhances development
(Motivation, 2022). In addition, if managers can identify the actual benefits of motivation then it
can also give the best results and inspire their staff typically achieve the highest outcomes.
Additionally, motivation encourages employees to become involved in problem-solving
activities. It also creates a better working environment inside the organization, enhances the
business output, motivates its internal stakeholder to give their best output, boosts the long-term
relationship among its stakeholder, keeps the best staff, and increases the bottom line (Jones,
2022). Motivated workers have the capacity and desire to put in the necessary effort to raise their
productivity level via appropriate education. Motivated workers make an effort to improve their
coworkers' negative or apathetic attitudes by sticking up for contemptuous coworkers,

5
identifying an employee's incapacity to operate in a team environment, and having supportive
dialogues instead of criticizing or ridiculing them.
