ABSTRACT. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the learning outcomes of class XI
students superior high school SMA Negeri I Idi Rayeuk, about the human resoiratory system can be
improved through the cooperative model fortofolio method, because the initial learning dominated by
lectures has an impact on the low students learning out comes, action research this class goes through
the planning procedure, action, observing procedure, and repflecting in each cycle. There are two
cycles done with 26 research subjects, qualitative data is collected through observation sheets,
documention and field notes. Quantitative data is obtained from students answers in answering rest
questions. Quantitative data is descriptive, while qualitative data is analized statistically. Simple this
research is considered succesfull if the number of students who get (>70) is 75% the initial condusion
of the number of students completed is only 26,67% by learning the cooperative method of the fortofolio
model in cycle the number of student completing. Reaches 50% there are various are plection of cycle
2 the total number of student reaches 86.67% this is indicated that the learning outcomes of biologi
class XI student in SMA Negeri I Idi Rayeuk. About bacteria through the cooperative model method of
portofolio can be improved in the event semester of the 2018/2019 school years.

ABSTRAK. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah hasil belajar siswa kelas X1. Unggul SMA
Negeri 1 Idi Rayeuk tentang sistim pernapasan manusia dapat ditingkatkan melalui metode koperatif
model portofolio, karena dengan pembelajaran awal yang didominiasi oleh ceramah berdampak pada
rendahnya hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini melalui prosedur perencanaan, pelaksanaan,
observasi, dan refleksi dalam tiap siklus. Ada dua siklus yang dilakukan, dengan subjek penelitian
berjumlah 26 orang orang. Data kualitatif dikumpulkan melalui lembaran observasi, dokumentasi dan
catatan lapangan. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari jawaban siswa dalam menjawab soal tes. Data
kualitatif dianalisis secara dekspritif, sedangkan data kualitatif dianalisis secara statistik sederhana.
Penelitian ini dianggap berhasil apabila jumlah siswa yang mendapat nilai tuntas (nilai ≥ 70) adalah ≥
75%. Kondisi awal jumlah siswa tuntas hanya 26,67%, dengan pembelajaran metode koperatif model
portofolio pada siklus I, jumlah siswa tuntas mencapai 50%. Adanya berbagai refleksi pada pelaksanaan
siklus II, jumlah siswa tuntas mencapai 86,67%. Ini menandakan bahwa hasil belajar pelajaran biologi
siswa kelas X1 SMA Negeri 1 Idi tentang bakteri melalui metode koperatif model portofolio dapat
ditingkatkan pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2018/2019.
