    ABOUT THE AUTHOR


    He is presently a Professor of Surgery at VMMC and Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi.
    He is a fellow of all the four Royal Colleges of UK, and American College of Surgeons.
    He is an examiner for the MRCS —The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK,
    besides being an examiner for MS, Mch (Surg.Oncol) examinations of All India
    Institute of Medical Sciences and various Indian universities. Known for his teaching
    and operating skills, he is actively involved in the teaching and training of
    undergraduates, postgraduates and post-doctoral (Mch, DNB Surg. Oncol.)
    students.

    He is well known for his postgraduate Master classes that happen across the country
    and especially as SCOPE course in New Delhi.

    He is the Chairman/Editor in Chief: Indian Journal of Surgery, He is Fellow of The


    Royal Society of Medicine, UK, Governor—American College of Surgeons
    [“Governor at Large—GAL”], He is presently the President of Asian Society of
    Mastology—ASOMA, Governing Council Member—Association of Surgeons of India(2009–2015), President—Association of
    Surgeons of India (Delhi chapter-2015), President—Association of Breast Surgeons of India (2013–2015), Hon. Secretary, The
    Association of Surgeons of India-2012, Joint Editor:—Indian Journal of Surgical Oncology, He has authored more than 10 books
    in surgery including chapters in various books of surgery. He has published more than 100 scientific papers in various
    International journals. He has conducted various trials including RCTs in cancer.
