    Pantao-A-Munai is one of the barangay in the Municipality of Munai who is implementing


    Feeding Program for malnourished children in the community. Malnutrition is one of the
    prevalent problems in our barangay. It affect the physical growth of our children as well as
    their learning development.

    We know that you have a big hearth towards our children holistic development. Children can
    grow healthy if they get the proper nutrition that they need. They can grow as productive
    children if they are physically and mentally healthy by having good nutrition.

    Thus, I as Barangay Chairman would like to request from your good office to be our partner
    in implementing the said Program. I cordially asking some help from you to support our
    program in terms of voluntary services or any kind of donation.

    We ardently hope for your positive response and we look forward to a continuing partnership
    with you in helping our children.

    educational and nutritious meal for children

    IV- Rationale and Objectives:

    Feeding program empower children by providing sufficient nourishment, allowing


    them to carry on with their daily lives and become more responsible learners, ultimately
    allowing them to strive to a better future. Finally, the advantages of feeding programs extend
    beyond providing children with nutritional meals.
    This project aims to help the problem of community regarding malnutrition of their
    children. The proponent of this project believes that nutrition plays a significant role in
    bettering the health of our children. Community – based feeding program is one of the
    interventions that enhance student’s motivation and capacity for learning, improving learning
    outcomes, reducing absenteeism, and ensuring that students are able to stay in school as
    enunciated in “Education for All” ( EFA ) and Millennium Development Goals ( MDGs ).
    The primary purpose of implementing this program are the following:
     To provide nutritious meals in sufficient quality and prepared with fresh
    ingredients
     To promote healthy eating practice among children
     To reduce and prevent malnutrition or under nutrition
     To promote proper hygiene
     To give smile to the children

    V- Project Respondents:
    More than 15 children ages below 10 years old

    VI- Methodology:
     Ask barangay officials to supervise the implementation of feeding program
     Set a meeting with the barangay nutritional worker to discuss the needed
    ingredients and additional monetary funds for our program.
     Get an approval of the Barangay Captain or Barangay officials who are
    present to give us permission to implement our feeding program.

    VII- Budgetary Allocation:


    Project expenses will be charge to BLGU and friends who are generous by hearth.

    VIII- Expected outputs:


     Helped to alleviate short-term hunger, prevent malnutrition, and enhance children’s
    nutrition.
     Enhance the nutritional status of young children and to offer basic sanitation and
    hygiene.
