- 21st century literature refers to new literary work created within the last decade. It is written by contemporary arts authors which may deal with current themes/ issues and reflects a technological culture. It often breaks traditional writing rules.

MANGA - is an umbrella term for a wide variety of comic books originally produced and published in Japan. Manga is often printed/illustrate with almost black and white. Japanese manga is read from left to right. The term “mangaka” is used to describe the author/person who creates a manga.

Reading Manga
Manga usually follows the traditional style as
found in Japan. Japanese Manga is to be read from the right side to the left, opposite of traditional American books.
In America, this traditional Japanese style
distinguishes Manga from other Graphic and Illustrated texts. Some Manga categories include the following:
Shonen- ( Boy’s Manga )
Shojo- ( Girl’s Manga ) Seinen- ( Men’s Manga ) Josei- ( Women’s Manga ) Kodomo- ( Children’s Manga ) DORAEMON is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Fujiko F. Fujio. The story revolves around an earless robotic cat named Doraemon, who travels back in time from the 22nd century to aid a boy named Nobita Nobi.
Nobita’s characterization depicts him as a lazy and
flawed person, including but not limited to a lack of physical co-ordination or athletic talent, predisposition to laziness. Despite not doing well academically, occasionally. Nobita is able to easily score a good mark or do well on a test.
In summary of the story
Doraemon is sent back in time by Nobita Nobi's great-great grandson Sewashi to correct Nobita's bad circumstances so that his descendants may have a better life in future. In the original timeline, Nobita experienced nothing but misery and misfortune throughout his life. As a result of this, Nobita's failures in school and subsequently, his career, have left his family line beset with financial problems. In order to alter history and improve the Nobi family's financial status, Sewashi sent a robotic cat called Doraemon.
