Clean and Organize: Ensure that the bar area is clean, including countertops, tables,
and equipment. Stock up on necessary supplies and arrange them properly.
Check Inventory: Verify the stock levels of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages,
garnishes, glassware, napkins, and other essential items.
Set Up the Bar: Arrange the bar area, including setting up the cash register, POS
system, credit card machines, and any other necessary equipment.
Check Safety Measures: Inspect fire extinguishers, emergency exits, smoke detectors,
and other safety equipment. Ensure that they are in working order.
Prepare Garnishes: Slice fruits, prepare garnishes, and ensure they are fresh and ready
for use.
Stock the Coolers: Ensure that the beer, wine, and other chilled beverages are properly
stocked and at the correct temperature.
Clean Glassware: Wash and polish glassware, ensuring they are spotless and ready for
use.
Test Equipment: Check the functioning of all bar equipment, such as blenders, mixers,
coffee machines, and ice machines.
Set Up Music and Lighting: Adjust the lighting and sound systems to create the
desired ambiance.
Staff Briefing: Gather your staff for a pre-shift meeting to communicate the day's
specials, any changes in procedures, and address any questions or concerns.

Secure Liquor: Ensure that all liquor bottles are properly locked or stored securely to
prevent unauthorized access.

Turn Off Equipment: Shut down and clean all equipment, including coffee machines,
blenders, and ice machines. Unplug any unnecessary appliances.
Secure the Premises: Lock all doors and windows, activate security alarms, and
ensure the premises are secure.
Set Lights and Temperature: Adjust lighting and set thermostats to an appropriate
level for energy conservation.
Review Surveillance Footage: Check security cameras and footage to ensure there
were no incidents during the operating hours.
