INGREDIENTS

Handful of almonds
Wheat flour

INSTRUCTIONS
1 Take almonds & grind them fine ALMOND
2 Stuff it nicely in dough ball.
Secure it and pat on tava.
PARATHA

My two cents
* Almond is a potential allergen.Introduce in small
quantities and gradually increase.
INGREDIENTS
Soaked chickpeas for
6-8 hrs
INSTRUCTIONS Chopped methi leaves
Pinch of jeera powder
1 Boil the chickpeas until soft and
let them cool Pinch of garam masala

2 Grind them in a mixer with some


olive oil

3 Mix all the other ingredients and


make oval tikkis with the mixture
CHICKPEA
4 Cook them well on a pan with
olive oil/butter/regular oil TIKKI
5 Serve this healthy snack as a
finger food
INGREDIENTS
2 small ripe bananas
3 spoons jaggery
INSTRUCTIONS (12 months +) or maple
syrup/agave syrup
(6 months +): This ingredient
1 Take ripe bananas and mash them
well. Mix all ingredients
can be skipped for babies
less than 12 months
2 spoons grated coconut
2 Make it a medium consistency
batter (optional)
½ spoon cardamom
3 Grease puddu pan with ghee DESI BANANA powder
Pour the batter into each one of MUFFIN / PUDDU 2 Tbsp of rice flour
4 them. Cook and cover for
5-7 minutes. ½ spoon white / black
sesame seeds
5 Flip the puddus with the help of a
spoon & fork. Again cook and cover
for 5-7 minutes

6 Your muffins are ready to serve

INGREDIENTS
Deseeded dates, grind
and make paste
INSTRUCTIONS Raw or roasted handful
of nuts ( almonds ,
cashew , raisins, pista )

DRY
In a pan , add ghee , add all the

become loose

2 Later , when done , can add

3 Cool it for 2 mins only and start

LADOO

* If mixture cools down, re-heat it and make balls
again.
INGREDIENTS

1 spoon of mustard seeds


8-10 curry leaves
Bowl of Idli pieces
½ tsp of sambhar masala
INSTRUCTIONS

FRIED
Add some cooking oil to the pan,
1 add mustard seeds and
curry leaves

Add idli pieces and the sambhar

can add more of oil.

3 Mix well and serve

* Instead of sambhar masala, can add home made
masala.
* Can also add chilli powder and cashew nuts for
adult version.
INGREDIENTS

Mashed riped Avocado


½ Tomato cut in pieces
½ tsp seasoning of

½ tsp lemon
1 Mix well all ingredients Pinch of salt & pepper if
needed
2 Serve with paratha or crackers GUACAMOLE 1tbsp olive oil

* Instead of pepper , can add chilli flakes
* Can add chopped onions and garlic too
INGREDIENTS
Soaked 1 cup moongdal
Soaked 1 cup urad dal
INSTRUCTIONS 1 tbsp ginger
Pinch of turmeric
1 Grind moongdal,ginger and urad
dal to make fluffy batter with water. Pinch of Salt
( 12 months+)
2 Add all the other ingredients and Pinch of hing
mix well.
Chopped onions
1 Tbsp oil

MOONGLETS
Add some oil in a pan and make
moonglets ( Dosa-like )

4 Serve with green chutney

* Make thick for great practice of jaw.
INGREDIENTS
1/4th spoon turmeric
1/4th spoon jeera powder
INSTRUCTIONS 1/4th spoon coriander
powder
1 Mix all the ingredients well 1/4 th spoon raw or
roasted ajwain
Pinch of Garam masala
2 Cut paneer cubes with this mixture

PANEER
and let it rest for 30 minutes. (8m +)
Pinch of pepper (8m +)

TIKKA
Shallow fry on pan with ghee or
3 your choice of oil till they are
brown from all sides.
Bowl of curd
2 spoons of roasted Besan
4 Paneer tikka for babies is ready.
Paneer Cubes

My two cents
*Keep flipping the paneer gently so that it
doesn’t stick to pan
*Use fresh paneer for better taste.
INGREDIENTS

Full cream milk


INSTRUCTIONS 4-5 raisins (for ½ milk)
Spoon of curd
Take full cream milk (any brand ), ( preferably home-made)
1 boil and let it settle and come or butter milk

RAISIN
to room temperature

2 Transfer in vessel of your choice.

Add raisins and curd/butter

CURD
milk and mix gently for exactly
32 times.

4 Lift the spoon & cover the milk.


Wait for about 12 hours to settle.

My two cents
* Takes 10-12hrs in summers to settle curd
* Takes 12-14 hours in winters to settle curd
* Raisin curd helps in digestion
INGREDIENTS
Boiled & peeled sweet
potato
2 spoons of Ragi
INSTRUCTIONS Pinch of salt
(12 months+)
Mix all the ingredients well and
1 make thick batter.
Add water if needed.
Pinch of jeera powder
Pinch of pepper powder
2 Let it rest for 10 minutes. (8 months+)

3 Spread on hot tava and use a ladle


to punch holes for it to cook well
SWEET POTATO Cheese (optional,
any low sodium brand)

4 Cook on medium to low flame


RAGI CHILLA Curd 2 spoons

5 Serve at room temperature

My two cents
*Use buttermilk instead of water and curd
for a better taste.
*Do not add salt while adding cheese
*Curd is dairy and a potential allergen
