1.0 COMPONY BACKGROUND

7-Eleven was founded by J. C. Thompson in 1927 as The Southland Ice Company in Dallas, Texas.
Started as an ice vendor, the company eventually began offering milk, bread and eggs on Sundays
and evenings when grocery stores were closed. This new business idea produced satisfied customers
and increased sales, spawning the precursor of the modern convenience retail concept.

7-Eleven Malaysia Holdings Berhad through its subsidiary 7-Eleven Malaysia Sdn Bhd is the owner
and operator of 7-Eleven stores in Malaysia. Incorporated on 4 June 1984, 7-Eleven Malaysia has
made its mark in the retailing scene and has been a prominent icon for over 28 years. 7-Eleven
Malaysia is the single largest convenience store chain with more than 2,400 stores nationwide,
serving over 900,000 customers daily.

We are the pioneer and the largest 24-hours convenience store operator in Malaysia. Upon
achieving its 1,000 mark in stores network, 7-Eleven Malaysia opened its door to local entrepreneurs
through its unique franchising program in 2009. We are the first franchisor in the local market to
offer existing profit-making stores to franchisees. 7-Eleven stores can be found across bustling
commercial districts to serene suburban residential compounds throughout Malaysia, from petrol
stations and LRT stations to shopping malls and medical institutions. 7-Eleven is Always There For

2.0 PROCESS OF GOODS OR SERVICES

7-Eleven popular Because its locations are open 24/7 all year round, 7-Eleven is well-known. They
use a business model that enables customers to enter and leave the stores quickly and sell a wide
variety of snack products. One of the most practical non-traditional working hours is seven eleven.
Particularly among millennials and Generation Z, who can purchase goods from these stores
whenever they want and don't have far drives because they are close to people's homes. The largest
and first 24-hour convenience store chain in Malaysia, according to 7-Eleven Malaysia. In addition to
selling snacks and essentials, 7-Eleven also provided bill-paying services, pre-paid top-ups, Touch 'n
Go reloads, photocopying services, etc.

In order to make it easier for customers looking for ready-to-eat snacks, the brand also introduced
hot beverages, pre-packaged frozen food, and a small bakery section that same year. With the
addition of 7 Café in 2022, the brand's selection of grab-and-go meals has increased. Freshly brewed
coffee, affogato and soft-serve ice cream, chunky fries, and prepared meals like onigiri and rice
dishes are just a few of the additions you can find. For convenience, some establishments have
designated eat-in areas where patrons can enjoy their meals without leaving the building.

Having personally visited a 7-Eleven location in Jalan Putera Alor Setar, it seems that the large
convenience store chain is on par with its rivals. You'll be welcomed by fully stocked shelves of
bakery goods, sandwiches, desserts, ready-to-go meals, as well as made-to-order snacks and
beverages at the counter, along with a large table at the front of the store to dine in.

Having tried some of 7-Eleven food like its Spicy Cheesy Nachos, Mac & Cheese,Honey Mustard
Sausage Croffle, and Mango Sticky Rice, a few of my colleagues and I decided that the food’s quality
was good enough for revisits, especially for convenience’s sake.

Not to mention, the pricing of all items was within the expected range, such as loaded cheesy nachos
for RM6.90, a honey mustard sausage croffle for also RM6.90, an affogato for RM5.90, and various
coffees for about RM4.90-RM6.90. Overall, we agreed they were pretty affordable for a quick meal.
