- A seminar could have multiple goals or just one. For example, a seminar may be held for
educational purposes, similar to a lecture, where the attendees engage in discussion on a
subject to further their understanding of it. It may be held to teach the attendees new skills or
knowledge through other types of educational seminars. Personal finance, digital marketing,
real estate, investing, and other seminar types are examples where participants can learn more
about the subject under discussion.
Of course, a seminar can be motivational, in which case the purpose is usually to inspire the
attendees to become better people, or to work towards implementing the skills they might
have learned from the seminar.
- Seminars and webinars are not the same thing at all. Webinars serve as both a marketing tool
and a means of educating the public, while they can be used to advance a similar objective.
Simply described, a webinar is a marketing tool meant to engage an external audience, whereas
a seminar is an internal event created exclusively for knowledge acquisition.
- seminar and webinar are not exactly the same because a seminar is ‘a meeting held for the
exchange of useful information by members of a common business community while webinar is
'an interactive seminar conducted via the World Wide Web. Usually a live presentation, lecture,
or workshop that happens in real-time, as users participate through chatting, video-chatting,
file-sharing, or asking questions with a microphone.
- A seminar is a meeting of people with the intent of discussing a specific subject. These events
are frequently participatory sessions where the participants have conversations regarding the
predetermined subject. Typically, one or two presenters take charge of the sessions and direct
the conversation in the intended direction.
- for a student like me, seminars help us to grow more in our chosen career path and it
motivates student to keep going and pursuing their dreams. Seminar are opportunity to learn
new things. Students must actively participate in the discussion because seminars are meant for
in-depth discussion of subjects from lectures or course readings.
Computer Aided Design involves any type of design activity that makes use of the computer to
develop, analyze or modify an engineering design. There are a number of fundamental reasons
for implementing a computer aided design system.
a. Increase the productivity of the designer: This is accomplished by helping the designer to
visualize the product and its component subassemblies and parts; and by reducing the time
required in synthesizing, analyzing, and documenting the design. This productivity improvement
translates not only into lower design cost but also into shorter project completion times.
b. To improve the quality of the design: A CAD system permits a more thorough engineering
analysis and a larger number of design alternatives can be investigated. Design errors are also
reduced through the greater accuracy provided by the system. These factors lead to a better
design.
d. To create a database for manufacturing: In the process of creating a the documentation for
the product design (geometries and dimensions of the product and its components, material
specification for components, bill of materials etc), much of the required data base to
manufacture the product is also created.
Design usually involves both creative and repetitive tasks. The repetitive tasks within design are
very appropriate for computerization.
This course is a Computer-Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) course in which the students will learn the
fundamentals of using AutoCAD software. The students will learn basic CADD techniques that are used
to draw and edit drawing entities; manipulate screen displays; write text; lay out drawings; print and
plot drawings; apply dimensions; and manage drawing files. An introduction to computer use will be
included in this course and previous knowledge of computers or computer programming is not required.

Adults attend these seminars for a shared goal that could be symbolic or literal. These
workshops are held for those who are having trouble at work. Community seminars are given to
foster better communication between opposing parties. For instance, a conversation between
elderly people receiving a meager pension and worried government officials fosters
collaborative understanding and encourages the thought process
This kind of training session combines traditional classroom elements. To get students to
approach their curriculum with objectivity, content concept is being introduced in the
classroom. Any time during the course, a content area seminar can be introduced. You can even
create a seminar expressly for your course.
For instance, you may arrange a faculty lecture to encourage business students to sign up for
courses in professional accounting. Introduce ACCA, CA, and ACMA professionals to the
students, then encourage them to discuss their issues. Any course may benefit from content-
area seminars in the middle, when students can consult experts on what they have learned in
class.

Participants in faculty seminars are professionals who can contribute their thoughts on the
field. Adult learners can now discuss ideas that they can put into practice, such as teachers or
faculty members.
These seminars have the power to alter educational culture and provide students with fresh

The assembly area of the school is likely where these workshops are typically presented. It is a
must for each student and teacher to take part. There are predefined questions and texts
because the seminar's goal is to strengthen school culture. The questions can be changed by
seminar leaders to suit their needs.
Although some educational institutions may be unfamiliar with these seminars, they have the
potential to alter teaching methods and instill a sense of academic relevance in pupils.
