THE MONKEY AND THE CROCODILE

(story reading)
Once upon a time in the middle of the forest
There was a river ,
In that river there lived a wild crocodile.
He was not able to hunt anymore because he was weak.
Oh, it is very difficult to hunt on land now.
A monkey saw the crocodile and asked “Why are you sad crocodile.”
Take some apple, They are very tasty .
Thank you dear monkey. Can you please give me these
Apples everyday?
Ok crocodile!
And the monkey gave the crocodile some apples and crocodile
Ate the apples everyday.
One day, he thought to eat the monkeys’ heart
So he thought an idea
He sat on the crocodile’s back
But when they were in the center of the river
He told the monkey that “ I wanted to eat your heart.”
The monkey thought of a plan
He said to crocodile “but I forgot my heart on the tree.”
So the crocodile said that go and take your heart and give it to me.
The monkey said that “what a foolish crocodile your are”
How can you take the heart from my body.
And I gave you so sweet apples but now,
I will never give those apples now.
You are not my friend
The crocodile was very hungry and realized his mistake.

Karapatan nami’y ginagampanan,
Na dapat pahalagahan
Para sa aming kinabukasan.
Upang kapahamakan
Lagging maiwasan
Tungo sa magandang kinabukasan
II
Bilang mga bata
Kami’y maunawaan
Aming Karapatan
Kailangang malaman.
Kakayahan nami’y
Dapat tularan.
Magandang kinabukasan
Aming makamtan.

Sa bawat Karapatan
Ay may pananagutan.
Sa tulad Kong bata
Ako’y pahalagahan.
Nasasabi at nakikita
Aking nararamdaman.
Upang malaman
Kung ano ang kailangan.

Salamat, salamat,
Sa lahat ng bagay,
Na sa anumang oras
Lagi kayong nakaalalay,
