Wolf’s Perspective

Even though the talk of communism dominates most of this time period, it’s important to realize that
this time period gave rise to a prosperous, stable, and safe America. Learning from the mistakes of the
Depression, the causes of the wars, and the consequences of two World Wars, American established a
new set of foreign, domestic, and economic policies to bring stability in the nation. Not only were we
able to achieve stability that sits through till date, the improvement in civil liberties and empowering of
work force gave rise a more prosperous middle class. Furthermore, purchasing power grew over time,
and do did the distribution of income throughout the population. Without the distribution of income
and better banking policies, the economic and military global power we see today would not have
existed. The same goes with the military, which not only promoted racial integration at the largest scale,
but enabled the American industries to innovate, paving the way for a more technologically able and
innovative production system.
