We are pleased to offer you the position stated below subject to the following terms and conditions
set out in this letter:

12.0 Job Description : Treat clients by providing the therapeutic support as
[Generic ] prescribed through the alternative medicine technique –
“Bekam”, massage or “Terapi Reposisi Tulang” in order to
relieve pain, help heal injuries, improve circulation, relieve
stress, increase relaxation, and aid in the general wellness of
clients.
The role of the therapists are as follows :
• Talk with clients about their symptoms, medical
history, and desired results
• Evaluate clients to locate painful or tense areas of the
body
• Doing cupping
• Manipulate muscles and other soft tissues of the body
• Provide clients with guidance on stretching,
strengthening, overall relaxation, and how to improve
their posture
• Document clients’ conditions and progress
• Ensure premise cleanliness and undertake duties and
obligation to ensure workplace safety and health and
environmental hygiene for conducive workplace.
Treat clients’ to promote the clients’ general wellness.
Provide advisory and guidance to achieve personalized
treatment plans for their clients, including information
about additional relaxation techniques to practice post
treatment .
Therapist are required to do business-related tasks such as
marketing, booking appointments, and maintaining financial
records. They may also have to buy supplies and do laundry.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
1. SALARY
a. The award of salary increases and the payment of bonuses shall be at the absolute
discretion of the Company.
b. You shall ensure that your remunerations are kept strictly private and confidential. Any
unwarranted breach of this condition may render you liable to disciplinary action.
2. WORKING DAYS AND OFFICE HOURS
a. Notwithstanding the above, the Company may vary the prescribed working days and
hours depending on operational needs.
3. PROBATION, CONFIRMATION AND TRANSFERABILITY
a. You shall be required to serve a probationary period of employment of up to three (3)
months from the date of the commencement of employment.
b. Upon completion of the probation period, your performance will be reviewed and the
Company may at its discretion to confirm or extend the probation period to a maximum
of three (3) months.
c. However, should the assessment reveals that your performance is unsatisfactory and/or
not conducive to the general working environment of the Company, the Company will
inform you that you would not be appointed to the aforementioned post.
d. You shall not be deemed to be confirmed notwithstanding completion (satisfactory or
otherwise) of the period(s) of probation as provided for in (3a) and (3b) above until you
have been officially confirmed in writing.
e. Absolute Transferability
During the term of employment with the Company, you may be transferred at any time
by the Company to any of its departments, offices, stores, factories or to other places of
employment throughout Malaysia or overseas or to its holding or any of its related or
associated or subsidiary company to perform such duty and assume such post as may be
directed by the Company.
4. TERMINATION OF EMPLOYMENT
a. During the probationary period, the employment may be terminated by either party
giving to the other party one (1) month’s advance written notice.
b. Upon confirmation, the notice period required to be given by either party shall be one
(1) month’s or one (1) month’s salary in lieu of notice save where any longer period of
notice is required by law.
c. In the event the indemnity payment is made by the Company on your behalf to your
previous employer, you shall be required to serve the Company for a period of not less
than one (1) year from the date of commencement of your employment with the
Company.
d. Notwithstanding Clause (4a) and (4c) of this Contract of Employment, should you wish to
terminate your service within one (1) year from your date of commencement with the
Company, you shall be required to pay an indemnity equivalent to the sum of the
indemnity paid by the Company on your behalf to your previous employer prior to
joining the Company, the amount of which will be calculated on a pro-rata basis.
e. In the event you are found guilty and convicted by any Court of Law in any Country of
any unlawful behaviour, criminal misconduct or drug related offenses you will be
dismissed or summarily dismissal from the Company.
5. EMPLOYEES PROVIDENT FUND (EPF), SOCSO AND INCOME TAX
You shall contribute to EPF and SOCSO, if applicable, as per statutory rates and the Company
shall make similar contributions. You shall also comply with the income tax regulations and shall
agree to deductions, if any of monies from the monthly salary for payment of income tax that
may be imposed.
6. RETIREMENT
The normal retirement age for all employees shall be at 60 years.
The date of birth as shown in the identity card of the employee shall be deemed to be the date of
birth for the purpose of determining the retirement age and the last day of work. Should the
identity card only show the year of birth, the employee may continue employment until 31
December of the calendar year.
7. CONFIDENTIALITY
a. All information, including but not limited to information regarding the Company’s
business or trade, which becomes available to the employee, shall not be used by the
employee for his/her own purposes or for the purposes of a third party. Such
information shall be considered as confidential information.
b. The employee shall at all times maintain strict confidentiality in respect of all matters
relating to the business of the Company, and/or the administration of the Company. The
employee shall not divulge any information in respect of any matter covered by this
clause to any party not duly authorized to receive such information.
c. The employee agrees that the effect of the above stated clause shall continue to remain
in the event the employee’s contract of service is terminated by either party, for any
reason whatsoever, and that the employee shall be bound to maintain confidentiality in
the event of such termination. The employee agrees not to use any information
obtained during the period of employment for personal gain, or for the gain of third
parties, at any time during or after the period of employment.
d. In the event there is a breach of confidentiality by the employee either during the period
of employment or thereafter, the employee shall be liable for such breach.
8. DATA PROCESSING
By signing this letter, you shall hereby give your consent to the Company to process personal
data concerning yourself in order to fulfil its obligations under this appointment and for any
other purposes relating to your employment, in accordance with the provisions of the Personal
Data Protection Act 2010 (as amended from time to time). This will principally (but may not
exclusively) relate to personnel, administrative, pension and payroll matters. Your attention is
drawn to the fact that the Company also processes and holds information relating to your health
for purposes such as maintaining records to administer Company and Statutory Sick Pay, monitor
and manage sickness absence.
9. ETHICS
During your employment, your professional conduct shall be such as not to discredit you or the
Company and you will be expected to perform the duties assigned to you in a loyal, efficient,
trustworthy and honest fashion. You will also be expected to conduct your private affairs in a
manner befitting your status within the Company.
10. OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS
a. As an Employee of the Company, you are expected to make yourself available at all times
for the Company’s business whenever required, which may falls outside your normal
working hours. You shall not unreasonably refuse when required to participate in the
