CITIZENSHIP
Globalization citizenship refers to the concept of being an active
and engaged member of a global community, beyond just being a
citizen of one's own nation-state. It involves recognizing and
understanding the interconnectedness of people and nations
across the world, and actively working towards promoting social,
economic, and environmental justice on a global scale. Also
includes a sense of responsibility towards the world and its
inhabitants, as well as a commitment to promoting human rights
and social equality. It also involves being aware of global issues
such as climate change, poverty, and inequality, and working
towards finding solutions that benefit everyone.
A GLOBAL CITIZEN IS SOMEONE WHO:
Is aware of the wider world and has a sense of their own role as a world
citizen.
