Worn Cameras (BWCs)

2. This pertains to This pertains to the programming of Directorate for


Logistics for the procurement of additional Body Worn Cameras (8WCs) to fill up the
operational requirements of the PROS and NSUS in the conduct of various police
operations. (see attachment)

3. In this regard, you are directed to conduct an Operational Needs


Assessment (ONA) to determine the actual and required number of BWCs for each
police units. In doing so, be guided on the provision of Administrative Matter No. 21-
06-08 SC (Rules on the use of Body Worn Camera in the execution of warrants)
which requires at least one BWC and one alternative recording devices, or a
minimum of two devices or such number as may be necessary to capture and record
the relevant incidents during its execution.
