At the end of the lesson the learners are expected to:
1. Identify hyponym of given words;
2. Classify hyponyms in the correct category; and
3. Give examples of hyponyms. (EN3V-IIIi-j-13.7).

B. Motivation
Using “Peel and Guess” game , I will present
covered pie. I will call pupil one by one to pull

We Love Planting
by: Rochella Marie R. Burgos
My family loves planting. Our simple
garden has flowering plants, vegetables, and
fruits. My father planted tomato plants, mango
and guava trees. He also helps my mother in
taking care of egg plants, bitter gourd, and
radish. They harvest these fruits and vegetables
then sell them to market. Meanwhile, my sister
planted flowering plants such as orchids, santan
and kalachuchi that beautify our surroundings. Yes ma’am!
My brother and I always help in watering all these
plants every morning. Planting makes us happy, 1. The family loves planting.
