    Applications are invited from eligible candidates on the prescribed forrm for
    for the Session 2023 under Exempted Category (The admission to Ph.D programme
    candidates having
    Mode), UGC-CSIR JRF (National Testing Authority), NET/SLET/ SET/M.Phil with Entrance Test (Regular
    GATE/CEED are eligible to apply
    under the exempted category as per vacancies shown against each
    Department/Centre in Annexure-I.
    ADMISSION SCHEDULE FOR Ph.D. PROGRAMME
    Commencement of filling of Online Application Formn 08.05.2023
    Last date for the filling of the Online Application Form 18.05.2023
    The candidates shall apply after having detailed information regarding the
    availability of number of seats
    along with specialization and categories. A candidate shall be eligible for enrolment to Ph.D., if he/she has
    obtained Master's Degree, with not less than 55% marks in aggregate (50% in case of SC/ST/OBC(non
    creamy layer)/PWD/EWS Candidates) in the Programme in which he/she desires to work for Ph.D. The
    Part timne aspirants with NOC from the parent department are only eligible to apply for admission.
    The application fee (Rs. 240/-) shall be deposited online after obtaining information about details from the
    department (e-mail ids in Annexure II). Detailed information can also be had from the concerned
    department/Centre/school or University website www. jammuuniversity.ac.in
    IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS/INFORMATION FOR CANDIDATES
    1 The applicant has to keep the following ready before applying:
    EmailID; Mobile No; Scanned photograph (<50KB); Scanned signature (<50KB); Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking
    etc for online payment of Application fee.
    2. The University will not be responsible for any mistake/lapse on the part of the candidate while filling up the
    Online
    Application Form and uploading of the required certificates.
    3 The Online Application Fee for all candidates is Rs. 240/-
    (Non-refundable).
    4 The admission of a candidate supplying incorrect/ factually
    wrong information in the Online Application Form will
    not be considered and is liable to be cancelled at any stage.
