Design Engineer, August 2019 – Present


Collins Aerospace (Formerly known as BE Aerospace) Hyderabad, Telangana

Project: Super first class suite & seat wire harness installation (WHI) for British Airways B777, Emirates B777 &
Cathay Pacific B777 and Lufthansa A350 seat
• Placing the LRU’s (Line replacement unit) as per the electrical block diagram.
• Preparing electrical component, actuation, IFE (In flight entertainment) and grounding installations.
• Routing the harness’ taking into consideration the mechanical structure and as per the block diagram.
• Identifying the suitable stand-offs and tie wraps for routing the harness’.
• Preparing the harness models and drawings, Underseat electrical box Drawings etc.
• Identifying the cooling requirements for different LRU’s in the suite by reading the vendor drawings.
• Participating in electrical integration meeting with the focals to suggest any improvements and changes in the models.
• Modeling and drafting brackets for electrical bracket installation required to route the harness’ in the suite and seat.

Project: Closeout seals design for interior of Boeing 737 aircrafts


• Checking the inputs from customer engineering, given by the buyer of particular Boeing 737 MAX.
• Doing PRE-PUB Audit (Checking the entire interior structure) for the configuration of particular 737 variants for the
Boeing’s customer.
• Identifying the seal design suitable for different locations through seal design guide and PDM.
• Creating the seal design work statement for the Boeing 737 Seals group based in Renton site.
• Design the seals as per the interiors (Galley, Overhead bins, lavatory etc.) so that there is no gap between the sidewalls
monuments.
• Assembling the seals based on the location in the particular aircraft in different modules.
• Creating the drawings for the designed seals and releasing them through ENOVIA via release action.
• Creating the seal modules in PDM, identifying the approver groups and routing the seals for manufacturing approval via
release action in PDM.

Project: PAR Wire harness installation


• Creation of wire harness installations (WHI/289) for PAR program.
• Create a WHI model for P8 program with 747 as reference
• Add the required standard parts and use them in routing.
• Add all the required standard description notes and naming conventions.
• Add the respective installation points that includes markers, sleeves and shielding.
Project: Designing and identifying the apt interior placards for Boeing 737 aircrafts
• Lead a team of 5 members and maintaining the deliveries with laudable quality so that during manufacturing no
setbacks are faced.
• Maintaining all project documents as per the AS9100D.
• Executing the Quality check for the packages done by the teammates and routing the package for focal’s approval.
• Executing the Interior placards packages apart from mentoring the team.

Project: Flight test and evaluation for Boeing 737 MAX commercial aircrafts.
• Study of inputs, Flight test instrumentation requirements, previously released 737 NG drawing and new 737 MAX
production structure.
• Check for the feasibility of the existing design of 737-8 flight test with minor changes for 737-9.
• Concept design of the flight test parts to accommodate the flight test commodities viz. accelerometer, access provision,
flowmeter, pressure transducer, strain gage, thermocouple.
• Making sure that all standard parts are valid and available, finding raw material in Standard material library document.
• Develop the design solution to accommodate existing design to the new variant of the airplane.
• Conduct the Preliminary Design Review (PDR) with the Boeing representatives and take the confirmation on the design. For
any major design changes go for the Complete Design Review(CDR).
• Coordinating with various departments of Boeing USA like Manufacturing, Material and process, stress and suppliers on the
proposed design and getting approval on new change.
• Creating the drawings and part list and releasing the new design in ENOVIA.
• Training the new engineers to get onboard with the projects.

Project: Data Migration from CATIA V4 to V5 for Boeing 777 and 777X
• Study of Boeing design manuals, CATIA V4 datasets and input drawings.
• Modelling the detail parts, assemblies and drawing creation of the Components of fuselage and wing.
• Conversion of drawings, detail parts, assemblies and installations from CATIA V4 to CATIA V5 with reference to
inputs provided by the customer as per the Boeing Standards and delivering through ENOVIA.
• Doing the quality check for the each and every datasets as per the checklist approved by the customer.
• Doing the Root Cause Analysis for any quality related issue in the converted components.
