To Whom It May Concern:

My name is Jenny Tran, and I am an English teacher at Westminster High School. I had the
pleasure of having Christie Kieu as a student for College Preparatory English 3 for 11th graders
in the 2021-2022 school year.

I remember Ms. Kieu was a studious person who always strived to complete her assignments on
time. She was never shy to ask questions whenever she didn’t understand something or needed
help. I especially remember the conversations we would have about college. Ms. Kieu was very
curious about my college experience and asked many questions about what kind of student I
myself was in high school, and how I got accepted into my university of choice. She was very
eager to learn from her predecessors and asked many pertinent questions with no hesitation.

On top of showing initiative as a student in the classroom, Ms. Kieu also excels in leadership.
Because she believes that helping others is of the utmost importance, she has provided her
services as a Peer Tutor on campus and became the President of Peer Tutoring in her senior year
of high school, which she is immensely proud of. Her commitment to whatever she puts her
mind to, as well as her ability to take charge in any situation, make her a successful leader. Ms.
Kieu thinks that her weakness is working in teams, so I admire her for taking on a position that
enables her to target her area of improvement and work on becoming a better version of herself.

Ms. Kieu is an ambitious and loyal person who will certainly be an asset to every team that she
finds herself a part of. She will surely succeed as both a leader and a team member due to these
qualities, since she will always strive to do her best in any task set before her, and will always
support those who have her respect and trust.

Thank you for your consideration,

Jenny Tran
