    An accident I am the witness of

    On 28th December 2020 In Islamabad F-7/3 I witnessed a very big


    accident on Jinnah Avenue. The accident didn’t kill anyone but it
    created a huge scene and a fight between the both drivers.

    I was going to the school that day when suddenly a car applied the
    brakes in front of us and a SUV driver t-boned the car that was in front
    of us causing an accident. The SUV driver was driving at a speed of
    75km/h and he had crashed into a parked Sonata. Luckily all of the
    passengers were safe as both of the cars got airbags and they had
    deployed and all the passengers had got out of the car safely. The fault
    was of the SUV driver as he ran a red light at a high speed pushing the
    car long in the pole.

    The police officers had already arrived and were writing the statements
    of the witnesses. They asked us that what had happened. We told them
    what had happened and we also showed them the image that we had
    captured in our cars dashcam. We gave the police officer and the both
    people involved in the accident a copy of the video from the dashcam.
    They thanked us. The SUV driver looked very angry and scared at the
    same time as he had crashed his very expensive car and the people of
    the Sonata were also not happy about it as their car was new and they
    barely paid the insurance fee of the car. Both drivers exchanged the
    insurance information and their insurance companies will now handle
    the case. The officer cited the SUV driver for running a red light, Over
    speeding and T-boning. The SUV driver got a -1 points deduction from
    his license.
    It was a very dangerous accident and someone could have died in this
    accident we must not try to cross the traffic light at the last second. We
    must stop when the light turns yellow. We must also not increase the
    speed of the car while someone is trying to cross the road.
