I am indebted to my parents who did not leave any stone unturned in
my upbringing. My guardians Avouch that educational institutions play a vital role in shaping the personality of an individual. My progenitors got me enrolled in such a school where I was inculcated not only academic fundamentals but also lessons which were helpful to enhance health and hygiene. An annual health camp used to be organised by my school in which tutees’ health was assessed, and if doctors found any diseases or deficiency of vitamins in students, they were treated as per guidelines of medical science. Even this camp was used as a platform by healthcare workers to amplify the awareness about praiseworthy aspects of a healthy lifestyle. Students of my school benefited the most because of the health camp as they were emboldened to live the life which led to lower absenteeism ratio of students as a result of that they were to able perform better in their academic careers. Thus, I started contemplating being health worker in the later part of my life. I always utilise my spare time by referring to textbooks because I assert that these books are oceans of knowledge and the best way to hone acumen. This school of thought abetted me to perform well throughout my academic career. I scored an 8.4 CGPA in the 10th standard which enabled me to get admission to science stream which rewards myriad opportunities to grow in my academic career and then after. I obtained 74% in the 12th standard. Subsequently, I opted to pursue a Bachelor of Science (Biotechnology). During the course spanning 3 years, I amassed knowledge of a wide range of subjects Chemistry, Microbiology, General English, Biotechnology. I scored 7.94 SGPA in a Bachelor of Science. I have scored overall 7.0 bands in IELTS ( Listening- 7.5, Reading- 7.5, Writing- 6.5, Speaking- 6.0) which renders my language proficiency which is rudimentary to getting admission to college. I am voracious to get information regarding national and international current affairs. Ergo, I have been reading newspapers and periodicals since my childhood. This habit has helped me make one of the toughest decisions of choosing the course for my further education after pursuing a bachelor’s degree. As per my daily routine, I was reading the prominent newspaper of my country during the summer vacation of the final year of my bachelor’s degree at that time my attention was grabbed by an article which described an acute problem which was the mismanagement of resources in health care realm, and it caused the untimely death of umpteen denizens of the country. After reading that article, I decided to contribute to ameliorating healthcare services. Thus, I am staunch to advance my academic career in the field of healthcare management. As learning is an unceasing process, I am determined to propel my academic career prospects as a result of that I have zeroed in on Canada to pursue my further education. I assert that no other country can come close to Canada in terms of its education system as well as its rich heritage, Cultural diversity, political stability, economic growth, and exquisite weather. All these elements can be useful to delineate the prosperity of a nation and Canada has epitomized all of them.
As I was going through the lists of colleges, Northern College gravitated
to my attention. I have done an abstruse study and was directed to its website. Its cornerstone has been laid on five tenets of integrity- honesty, trust, fairness, responsibility, and respect which make it stand apart from the rest. I also realized that my learning will be amplified by a concoction of a conducive environment, diverse ethnicity, and state- of-art technology. Ergo, I will get enrolled in Pre-Health Science + Healthcare Management at this eminent alma mater. My education expenses are sponsored by my parents. The tuition fee amounting to $16485 has been paid and opened a GIC account in Canada for me with over $10000 deposited. The receipts for the program fees and GIC are already attached to my application for your review.
This course comprises a wide range of modules such as Business
Communications, Accounting Essentials, Anatomy and Body Systems, Critical Thinking/Problem Solving, Health office Billing, Mathematics for Health Science. All these modules help me to augment my current repertoire as it aims to equip me with much-needed knowledge of the administration of health services. So, I will be able to assist a team of doctors to run hospitals as well as clinics.
After finishing my study in Canada, I will return to my home country
because India is the country which witnesses health crises frequently because there is a paucity of manpower in the healthcare sector. I opine that my education qualification will help me to get hired by one of eminent hospitals such as Fortis Hospital, Artemis Hospital, CIMS Hospital, Sterling Hospital where being a member of the health care team, I will be allocating available resources in such a way that doctors will be able to provide treatment to more number of patients efficient, and eventually, health care standard will be improved. As per the norm of my Society, it is my moral duty to be with my family and take care of my parents in the latter part of their life, and provide financial and emotional support to all of my family members.
