Missing features:

Known Bugs:
1. BugID#391/383:
RFC2889 back pressure test fail, packet loss 50% in IXIA ScriptMate.
According to the Broadcom’s explanation, it is a chipset limitation. In the conclusion of
Broadcom’s document 5621X-AN100-R, Recommendation for BCM5621X MMU Setting, it
describes
“The MMU is highly flexible to support different sets of traffic conditions. However,
no single MMU setting can support all test cases. A trade-off is necessary in terms
of identifying a particular MMU setting that meets the most test scenarios
depending on the tests that are most important”.
In order to support jumbo frame, a trade-off is that back pressure test only supports up to
17 ports (pass all packet size, 64 ~ 1518).

2. BugID#392/384:
RFC2889 many to many test fail on packets size form 256~1518 in IXIA ScriptMate.
It is the same root cause to known bug#1. In order to support jumbo frame, a trade-off is
that many to many test only supports up to 20 ports (pass all packet size, 64 ~ 1518).
3. BugID#458/448:
Unit reboots with Exception 4 error. 3Com notice there was cold start traps coming for
Switch 48 ports. 3Com notice these traps sent from 2 different units. It looks like units
reboots after certain time unexpectedly.
It can’t be reproduced both in 3Com and ASUS side.

4. BugID#461/451:
Unit rebooted with exception error 3 this happen after upgrade to v29.
The exception message is:
**Exception 3: EPC=8007C260, Cause=0000000C VAddr=00000000
3COM Baseline Switch 2948-SFP Plus
Boot Version:00.00.13 Build Date: Fri Jun 8 14:22:54 CST 2007
It can’t be reproduced both in 3Com and ASUS side.

5. SNMP trap:
Authentication failure trap are sent from switch but the 802.1x setting of all ports are force
authorized.
Comment: Still in investigation
