State of the Evidence

• Evaluation literature continues to grow in part because journal review boards have accepted evaluation projects
and their internal evidence as important for publication.
• Practice-based evidence is gaining in legitimacy with increased rigor being used.
• There has been a notable shift in the past decade in the number of evaluations conducted as evaluation research.
