High school GPA Minimum English level to receive the scholarship amounts above, renewable annually*
Conditionally admitted students receive an award when they pass English Language Program Advanced 2 level with minimum 84% or B overall grade.
Not all students will qualify. Eligibility factors include highly competitive GPA and test scores. Once a student is fully admitted to ASU, scholarship eligibility will be reviewed based on their academic record.
Awards are made in fall and spring semesters only. Summer-start students will receive any awarded scholarship in their first fall semester. Eligible students must be on F-1 visas. Students who receive full
sponsorship are not eligible for these awards. ASU and Kaplan reserve the right to revoke any admission or scholarships due to incorrect self-reported information.
*S
tudents awarded a New American University Scholarship must meet renewal criteria each year in order for their scholarship to continue. The award is renewable for a total of 8 (Year 1 admission
students) or 4 (transfer admission students) consecutive fall and spring semesters of eligibility. More detail: students.asu.edu/scholarships/renewal

Students who are admitted with deficiencies must meet the deficiencies in order to become eligible for a scholarship award.
