Accomplishment Report on Remedial Reading

Reading Strengthens the Brain and improves memory. It is an activity that requires
focus, it is one that, when done regularly, helps children develop the ability to sit still and
quietly for longer and longer periods of time. As part of the Project TIMER of, we are
conducting a remedial reading every 12:30 to 1:00 every day to ensure that every child
must be a reader.

Of the 36 pupils in Grade 5-Matuwid, 2 of them is under Below Letter Level, 7 pupils
under Letter Level, 12 pupils under Word Level, 10 pupils under Paragraph Level and 5
pupils under Story Level.

Using the D.A.R.T and Tools, Marungko Approach and Claveria, there are 21 pupils
who improve their reading skills and the other 15 are still developing. Through remedial
reading, follow up of their parents and their eagerness to learn, they will soon know how to
read.
