HEALING SCRIPTURES TO PRAY

Isa 53:4-5 Surely our diseases he did bear, and our pains he

carried; whereas we did esteem him stricken, smitten of

God, and a icted. But he was wounded because of our

transgressions, he was crushed because of our iniquities:

the chastisement of our welfare was upon him, and with

his stripes we were healed.

Mat 8:16-17 That evening many demon-possessed people

were brought to Jesus. He cast out the evil spirits with a

simple command, and he healed all the sick. This ful lled

the word of the Lord through the prophet Isaiah, who said,

“He took our sicknesses and removed our diseases.”

Jas 5:14-16 Are any of you sick? You should call for the

elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing

you with oil in the name of the Lord. Such a prayer o ered

in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well.

And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven.

Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so

that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous

person has great power and produces wonderful results.

1 Pe 2:24 He personally carried our sins in his body on the

cross so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is

right. By his wounds you are healed.

Psa 103:3-5 He forgives all my sins and heals all my

diseases. He redeems me from death and crowns me with

love and tender mercies. He lls my life with good things.

My youth is renewed like the eagle’s!

Rom 8:11 The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the

dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from

the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same

Spirit living within you.

Exo 15:26 He said, “If you will listen carefully to the voice

of the LORD your God and do what is right in his sight,

obeying his commands and keeping all his decrees, then I

will not make you su er any of the diseases I sent on the

Egyptians; for I am the LORD who heals you.”

Jer 17:14 O LORD, if you heal me, I will be truly healed; if

you save me, I will be truly saved. My praises are for you

alone!

Psa 107:20-21 He sent out his word and healed them,

snatching them from the door of death. Let them praise

the LORD for his great love and for the wonderful things

he has done for them.

Luk 13:16 This dear woman, a daughter of Abraham, has

been held in bondage by Satan for eighteen years. Isn’t it

right that she be released, even on the Sabbath?”

Act 10:38 And you know that God anointed Jesus of

Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. Then Jesus

went around doing good and healing all who were

oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.

Joh 10:10 The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and

destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying

life.

1 Pe 5:8-9 Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the

devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for

someone to devour. Stand rm against him and be strong

in your faith.

Eph 6:10-16 A nal word: Be strong in the Lord and in his

mighty power. Put on all of God’s armor so that you will

be able to stand rm against all strategies of the devil. For

we are not ghting against esh-and-blood enemies, but

against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world,

against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil

spirits in the heavenly places. Therefore, put on every piece

of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in

the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be

standing rm. Stand your ground, putting on the belt of

truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness. For

shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News

so that you will be fully prepared. In addition to all of these,

hold up the shield of faith to stop the ery arrows of the

devil.

Col 1:12-13 always thanking the Father. He has enabled

you to share in the inheritance that belongs to his people,

who live in the light. For he has rescued us from the

kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom

of his dear Son,

Gal 3:13,14,29 But Christ has rescued us from the curse

pronounced by the law. When he was hung on the cross,

he took upon himself the curse for our wrongdoing. For it

is written in the Scriptures, “Cursed is everyone who is

hung on a tree.” Through Christ Jesus, God has blessed

the Gentiles with the same blessing he promised to

Abraham, so that we who are believers might receive the

promised Holy Spirit through faith. And now that you

belong to Christ, you are the true children of Abraham.

You are his heirs, and God’s promise to Abraham belongs

to you.

Deu 7:15 And the LORD will protect you from all

sickness. He will not let you su er from the terrible

diseases you knew in Egypt, but he will in ict them on all

your enemies!

Isa 58:8,11 “Then your salvation will come like the dawn,

and your wounds will quickly heal. Your godliness will lead

you forward, and the glory of the LORD will protect you

you water when you are dry and restoring your strength.

You will be like a well-watered garden, like an ever- owing

spring.

Mal 3:6 “I am the LORD, and I do not change.

Joh 5:14 But afterward Jesus found him in the Temple and

told him, “Now you are well; so stop sinning, or something

even worse may happen to you.”

1 Co 6:19-20 Don’t you realize that your body is the temple

of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you

by God? You do not belong to yourself, for God bought

you with a high price. So you must honor God with your

body.

1 Co 3:16-17 Don’t you realize that all of you together are

the temple of God and that the Spirit of God lives in you?

God will destroy anyone who destroys this temple. For

God’s temple is holy, and you are that temple.

Rom 12:1-2 And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with

you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done

for you. Let them be a living and holy sacri ce—the kind

he will nd acceptable. This is truly the way to worship

him. Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world,

but let God transform you into a new person by changing

the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will

for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

Psa 139:13-14 You made all the delicate, inner parts of my

body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank

you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your

workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it.

God wishes for us to have "SHALOM"...complete

wholeness in our body, soul and spirit.

2 Th 3:16 Now may the Lord of "shalom" himself give you

his "shalom" at all times and in every situation. The Lord

be with you all.

Gal 5:22 But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in

our lives: love, joy, "shalom", patience, kindness, goodness,

faithfulness,

Col 3:15 And let the 'shalom' that comes from Christ rule

in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called

to live in 'shalom'. And always be thankful.

Rom 5:1 Therefore, since we have been made right in

God’s sight by faith, we have 'shalom' with God because

of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us.

Isa 26:3 You will keep in perfect 'shalom' all who trust in

you, all whose thoughts are xed on you!

3 John 1:2 Dear friend, I hope all is well with you and that

you are as healthy in body as you are strong in spirit.

(shalom!)

James 1:17 Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming

down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights

in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting

shadow.

Hebrews 6:18 So God has given both his promise and his

oath. These two things are unchangeable because it is

impossible for God to lie. Therefore, we who have ed to

him for refuge can have great con dence as we hold to the

hope that lies before us.

2 Cor 10:5 We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps

people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious

thoughts and teach them to obey Christ.

2 Cor 5:7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

Rom 4:18, 21 Even when there was no reason for hope,

Abraham kept hoping—believing that he would become

the father of many nations. For God had said to him,

“That’s how many descendants you will have!”

Rom 4:20 Abraham never wavered in believing God’s

promise. In fact, his faith grew stronger, and in this he

brought glory to God. He was fully convinced that God is

able to do whatever he promises.

Luke 9:1-2 One day Jesus called together his twelve

disciples and gave them power and authority to cast out all

demons and to heal all diseases. Then he sent them out to

tell everyone about the Kingdom of God and to heal the

sick.

Mark 16:16-20 Anyone who believes and is baptized will

be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be

condemned. These miraculous signs will accompany those

who believe: They will cast out demons in my name, and

they will speak in new languages. They will be able to

handle snakes with safety, and if they drink anything

poisonous, it won’t hurt them. They will be able to place

their hands on the sick, and they will be healed.” When the

Lord Jesus had nished talking with them, he was taken up

into heaven and sat down in the place of honor at God’s

right hand. And the disciples went everywhere and

preached, and the Lord worked through them, con rming

what they said by many miraculous signs.

Luke 10:19 Look, I have given you authority over all the

power of the enemy, and you can walk among snakes and

scorpions and crush them. Nothing will injure you.

John 14:12-14 I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in

me will do the same works I have done, and even greater

works, because I am going to be with the Father. You can

ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the

Son can bring glory to the Father. Yes, ask me for anything

fi

in my name, and I will do it!

James 4:7 So humble yourselves before God. Resist the

devil, and he will ee from you.

Matt 18:18-19 I tell you the truth, whatever you forbid on

earth will be forbidden in heaven, and whatever you permit

on earth will be permitted in heaven. I also tell you this: If

two of you agree here on earth concerning anything you

ask, my Father in heaven will do it for you.

1 Jn 4:4 But you belong to God, my dear children. You

have already won a victory over those people, because the

Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives

in the world.

2 Cor 10:3-5 We are human, but we don’t wage war as

humans do. We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly

weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human

reasoning and to destroy false arguments. We destroy every

proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We

capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey

Christ.

2 Peter 1:4-5 And because of his glory and excellence, he

has given us great and precious promises. These are the

promises that enable you to share his divine nature and

escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires. In

view of all this, make every e ort to respond to God’s

promises.

Psa 91:14-16 The LORD says, “I will rescue those who

love me. I will protect those who trust in my name. When

they call on me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble.

I will rescue and honor them. I will reward them with a

long life and give them my salvation.”

Deut 4:40 If you obey all the decrees and commands, I am

giving you today, all will be well with you and your children.

I am giving you these instructions so you will enjoy a long

life in the land the LORD your God is giving you for all

time.”

years of the wicked are cut short.
