    University and/or Program-prescribed GE courses

    Free electives include any non-GE course offered outside the Program within the UP System

    Communication Research electives include, but are not limited to: CItes 140, 145,160,161, 170,1 75, 180, 185, and 197. CItes 140 or CRes
    145 must be taken as an elective. CItes 197 may be taken twice, provided that the topics are diffeçont.

    CMC electives refer to any non-CItes course numbered 100 and above offered within the College or Mass Communication.

    Language electives include a) any foreign language courses except English, or b) any Philippine regional language courses.
    As a requirement for graduation, all students mus( take six (6) units in one of the National Service Training Program (NSTP) components: civil
    Wellore Training Service (CWr5), Literacy Training Service (iTS), and Reserved Officers' Training Corps Military Science (ROTC Mit Sci). These
    are offered by UPU.

    If a transferee has already taken a Math course in his/her previous course/University, Moth 2 need not be prescribed anymore

    The University regularly reviews course curricula and may revise them. Students admitted into thh; program shall follow the existing
    curriculum until such time that a new curriculum replacing it has been duly approved for implemertotion, All courses prescribed and taken
    under this existing curriculum shall be credited under the new curriculum
