Scope of Work

1 Excavation
All excavation including basement and back filling at the depths and dimensions after providing the layout for the
same as per the specification will be done by the Civil Contractor.
Filling will be done including compaction.
JCB Or Manual Excavation will be borne by the Contractor.

2 PCC (1:4:8)
Providing and laying in position cement concrete below the foundation and grade slab of 1:4:8 (M10) including the
cost of centering and shuttering.

3 RCC Work:
All RCC Work including shuttering, centering, and scaffolding will be in the scope of work of the contractor includin
RCC Work for the Underground water tank, Septic Tank, and Overhead tanks, however the amount for Septic Tank
Underground water tank and Overhead tank will be paid separately as per enclosed BOQ.
The rate for Reinforcement Steel (TMT Bar Fe500) work including binding wire is included in the scope and nothing
extra will be payable for reinforcement.
The building is planned considering 5.5 g/Sq.Ft (average for basement, Stilt and upper floors) for TMT Bars
(excluding Binding wire and chairs, wastage).
The Actual consumption will be calculated as per Bar bending schedule prepared using excel or other 3 d modeling
software. Variations in quantity of steel from 5kg/Sqft will be paid extra or recovered if the actual consumption is
less than 5.5 kg/Sqft.
Note: Wastage, Bonding Wire and Chair will not be counted towards the consumption.

4 Electrical Connection and Water Supply for Construction

The contractor has to arrange for water supply on his own for the construction.
Client will arrange for the temporary electrical connection, however, the bill for the same will be paid by the
contractor.

6 Anti Termite Treatment

Anti-Termite treatment in the foundation is in the scope of the contractor.
7 Shuttering Specification:
Steel plate, Props, and shuttering will be used for the slab bottom and film face waterproof ply for sides and
bottoms for the beams
Beam, Wall or Column if width is more than 2ft than Shuttering will done with Ghuggu tool

To obtain the necessary labor license and safety compliance to same is the responsibility of
contractor and contractor will be responsible for any non compliance and mishappening at the site.

Water Proofing for Basement:

Laying of pre-applied, high-density polyethylene (HDPE) sheet waterproofing membrane treated with unique
pressure-sensitive adhesive and protective coating below the raft slab and on the outer surface of the retaining
wall. The membrane on the retaining wall outsides to be protected by HDPE dimple boards before backfilling of soil
in the excavated areas.

Water Proofing for Water Tank

Outer surface - Grouting of joints and cracks with Pidilite / SIKA Crack Filler, use of hydro swelling gaskets and
application of 2-3 layers of Acrylic Polymer Modified Cementitious waterproof coating. For additional protection,
the inside surface will be covered with ceramic tiles also.
Product - Sika Top 107 seal, Fosroc Brushbond etc.
