The existing strategy of the company is to produce low-cost products with reasonable
quality. According to its current strategy, it was designing projects and implementing
those. After the observation, do you think that the company needs to change its strategy?

3. In your own word, mention the differences that can exist in the project selection process
between service and manufacturing organization.
4. Assume, you work for a multinational research and development organization that has a
reputation in developing cutting edge technologies for medical equipment. You have been
assigned as a chief financial officer. You have found out that some of the current
developed products and technologies have not been financially successful due to the huge
cost in the development process. The organization is traditionally using a dedicated team
structure. So, what will be your responses about the existing problems and possible
solution approaches?
5. Say, you are in charge of arranging weekend outings for all the team members of a
project that is currently being implemented. The objective of this trip will be to enjoy and
also solve some of the communication issues within the team that is creating problems in
the project progress. Assume, the trip as a project and develop a responsibility matrix
considering the objectives of the trip.
