A SEMI-DETAILED LESSON PLAN

(PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT G11)

I. OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the lesson, the student should be able to:
 distinguish the various roles of different individuals in society and how they
can influence people through their leadership or membership.
 compare your self-perception and how others see you, and
 create an essay about the social group where you belong, it’s nature,
activities and benefits.

page 94-102
C. Instructional Materials: PowerPoint presentation, laptop and instructional
materials.

 Let’s first review what we talked about in our previous discussion.
C. Motivation:
 The teacher will going to ask the students who among them belong
to the following groups / clubs / organizations:

• Choir
• Dance group
• Play/theatre arts
• School cheer leading team
• School paper
Others (identify existing organizations in your school and/or area)
D. ACTIVITY(MY ORGANIZATIONS)
Have the students write down the name of organizations they belong to, the type
of organization and the student’s position/role in the organization.

 The teacher will ask the students to select their partner.
 Each pair of students should conduct an interview with their partner and ask
them to describe them.
 This activity will take 3-5 minutes
