COURSE SYLLABUS
NURSING ADMINISTRATION I
Course Description:
The course focuses on the organizational set-up and development, administrative processes of
nursing administration . It evolves on the discussion of the nursing management theories which helps
students establish their competencies in nursing leadership and administration. The course examines
the past, present and future issues related to the role of the nursing administrator in leadership,
communication, organizational behavior ethical practice, health economics and conflict management.
The course prepares the student to the role of a nurse administrator and provides them with
opportunities for discussion and understanding of diverse management roles.
