    explain steps and procurement process

    Prequalification This is a formal method of assessing suppliers agencies predetermined criteria only
    suppliers who meet established criteria are invited to tender

    Invitation to tender it is also known as ITT it is formal procurement document that is issued by the
    buyer inviting the bidder for the contract of works they are looking to fulfill this could be for the supply
    of either good services or works to the procurement authority

    Tender submission

    A procurement tender is a document that suppliers needs to complete when bidding for contract
    procurement tendering is a process wherein the organization will invite suppliers to submit the proposal
    or bids invitation that supplier will receive is usually called a request for tender

    Evaluation of tender

    Evaluation committee may offer tender evaluation but prior to the award of tender it is conducted due
    to diligence and present the report in writing to confirm and verify qualification of the tender Books
    have mitted the lowest evaluated responsive tender to be awarded the contract in accordance with they
    act

    Award of the contract

    this is the decision of the purchaser to enter into a contract with the supplier for supply and delivery of
    the specified good including any related services

    Joint building contract committee

    This committee is at the presentative for building owners developers professional consultant and

    Federation of Kenya employers FKE

    US formed as a central body of employers in 1959 it was registered under the trade unions act of law in
    Kenya it is the apex of employers in Kenya

    Objectives,

    and the employees through the trade unions
     encourage fair labour practices among the employers
     provide forum for consultation between the and among the members
     collect and circulate information and statistics and advise members on their rights and

    Membership

    The unions mainly depend on membership participation and they must of necessity include
    services FKE membership is open to all employers in both public and private sectors upon the
    payment of the membership fee and annual subscription and uh building levy

    categories of membership

    Individual films and comments these are business organizations which prefer to negotiate or
    deal with trade unions directly

    Group of companies or film These are voluntary member groups which are voluntary group
    together for the purpose of negotiation which these are commonly recognized as trade unions

    Employers association these are associations registered under the laws as employer association
    but they are afflicted to FKE for purpose of industrial relation

    Strategy boards these include parastatal bodies they negotiator really trade unions in the same way as
    any private company and they fully participate fully in the affairsof FKE

    FKE serves as a platform for the declaration of key of the employers in Kenya in areas of social
    development it is most representative employers organization in the country representing the
    employers in both local and international
    FK E promotes good industrial cooperation between the employees and the employers hence reducing
    the coalition

    Effekte also helping members by educating them their rights and responsibilities.
