EMBODYING THE TRUE CENPHILIAN SPIRIT ON THE DAY

OF OUR MENTORS:
October 5, 2022: A Day to Honor the Noblest Group of People Who Shape the Mind and Enrich
Values—Our Teachers

A teacher can have an impact on a student outside of the classroom. Teachers put forth a lot of
effort to thoroughly comprehend their students and care for them. They put a lot of effort into
helping their children develop good character and social awareness. On Teachers' Day, we get
the chance to remember our cherished teachers and show our appreciation for their contributions
to our lives. A teacher is the cornerstone upon which a society is built. Because they are tasked
with fostering the intellectual and artistic talents of the next generation of societal leaders,
teachers bear a great deal of responsibility. As Sidney Hook quoted, "Everyone who remembers
his own education remembers teachers, not methods and techniques. The teacher is the heart of
the educational system." The purpose of celebrating Teachers' Day is to honor our teachers for
guiding and supporting us morally and intellectually. There are some teachers we would like to
share the development of our lives with, regardless of how old we get. Some of these teachers
are more knowledgeable about us and more confident in us than we are in ourselves. Some of
these teachers are the ones we would seek out no matter where we were or when we saw them,
and some of them wind up not just being excellent teachers but also becoming great friends.

We have the chance to tell our teachers how much of an influence they have had on our lives on
Teachers' Day. You don't always have to wait until Teachers' Day to thank them for their
unwavering love and support; sometimes there is just another occasion. In such an environment,
Teachers' Day can serve as a day for both educators and learners to consider their separate
vocations as teachers and the value of having instructors who actually care about them. One of
the many holidays observed annually in Central Philippines State University- Victorias Campus
is Teachers' Day, which is regarded as an important occasion. Throughout the entire academic
year, teachers are only shown respect and appreciation on one single day. The Supreme Student
Government and the Future Leaders of the Philippines of CPSU-Victorias City are to be
commended for paving the road and steering the celebration's success by organizing events
where students perform talent shows, throw surprises, and give gifts to their favorite teachers on
Teachers' Day.

In such a celebration, Teachers' Day may end up being the only joyful day in their lives.
Regardless of the circumstance, it is crucial to thank all teachers, and Teachers' Day would be the
perfect time to do so. And many teachers were grateful to watch their representative students in
every department express their heartfelt gratitude, respect, and regard in their messages on that
day for everything they had done. The students are grateful to have teachers at Central
Philippines State University in Victorias City who can teach intellectual and moral knowledge
from the books and their own life experiences and be a model for their students to follow to
reach their goals in life. The students were thankful that they could fondly attach their trust to
seek advice and support for their tasks from their teacher as they became their second parent,
sister, brother, or friend when outside of the classrooms. Students were ready with surprises and
gifts inside their respective classrooms to make their teachers feel special for their dedication and
hard work to teach the students.
A very special day is enclosed with a "thank you" from the teachers to their students for showing
their efforts. In Solomon Ortiz's point of view, "Education is the key to success in life, and
teachers make a lasting impact in the lives of their students." That is why teachers all over the
world, particularly at CPSU-Victoria's City, play an important role in assisting their students to
achieve their goals and succeed.
