Cougar Club Mission
Cougar Athletics serves an important role in the lives of College of
Charleston students. The various teams – and their successes – contribute
to school spirit and enhance the general experience of the student body,

The primary purpose of the Cougar Club is to provide financial support
for student-athlete scholarships. To put this in context, this year, an in-state TUITION AND FEES $ 11,386 $ 29,544

total direct cost is $47,363.

Our athletes compete at a very high level. And the cost of running an élite NCAA Division I program in the
CAA is high as well. So we ask that you consider increasing the amount of your donation this year over last
by at least 10 percent.
We hope you can do more to support the Cougar Athletics Program. If every member of the Cougar
Club participated in the 110% Club, we would raise an additional $83,208 for student-athlete scholarships.

Note: All participants who donate 110% will receive a lapel pin and be placed in a drawing to win CofC
gear/swag/prizes.

Varsity Club
The Charleston Varsity Club is composed of former student-athletes, managers and trainers who
have made the decision to financially support the needs of our current student-athletes. This
organization exists to provide fellowship among former student-athletes while also offering a
method of outreach that reconnects them with the College of Charleston athletics department.
In addition to regular Cougar Club benefits, Varsity Club members also receive discounted
season tickets and special events throughout the year.T

university within the past four years, you are eligible to join the Graduate Cougar Club at a
50 percent discount.
