PLAN MAKING
The blueprint for successful entrepreneurs!

P R E S E N T A T I O N
DEFINITION

A BUSINESS PLAN IS A WRITTEN DOCUMENT THAT

DESCRIBES IN DETAIL HOW A BUSINESS—USUALLY A
STARTUP—DEFINES ITS OBJECTIVES AND HOW IT IS TO GO
ABOUT ACHIEVING ITS GOALS. A BUSINESS PLAN LAYS OUT
A WRITTEN ROADMAP FOR THE FIRM FROM MARKETING,
FINANCIAL, AND OPERATIONAL STANDPOINTS.

BUSINESS
WHAT IS A STARTUP?

The term startup refers to a company in the first

stages of operations. Startups are founded by one
or more entrepreneurs who want to develop a
product or service for which they believe there is
demand. These companies generally start with
high costs and limited revenue, which is why they
look for capital from a variety of sources such as
venture capitalists.

UNDERSTANDING STARTUPS

Startups are companies or ventures that are

focused on a single product or service that the
founders want to bring to market. These
companies typically don't have a fully developed
business model and, more crucially, lack adequate
capital to move onto the next phase of business.
Most of these companies are initially funded by
their founders.

they must decide on who will be the CEO of
their company.

Afterward, they must decide on a product

that they have to produce as the core of their
business. And out of it, they will be making a
business plan to realize the project.
THEIR BUSINESS PLAN MUST
FOLLOW THIS KIND OF FORMAT:

Title Page – in the title page, it must contains the name of the company, the contact information, and
the website address if there is a facebook/instagram or twitter page.

Table of Content

Executive Summary - This is your five-minute elevator pitch. It may include company background,
market opportunity, management overviews, competitive advantages, and financial highlights. It’s
probably easiest to write the detailed sections first and then extract the cream to create the executive
summary. Try to keep it to just a couple of pages.

Company Description - In this section, provide a more detailed description of your company, including
the opportunity (aka market problem addressed) and your solution. Be specific in identifying your
target market, including a description of the consumer profile or list of target businesses or
organizations. This is where detail your competitive advantage, including management expertise
and/or product, process, or other differentiators.
THEIR BUSINESS PLAN MUST
FOLLOW THIS KIND OF FORMAT:

Product and Service Offerings - Use the product or service section to detail your offerings and any
market differentiators such as copyrights or patents. Explain what benefit your product or service
delivers to your customers, in particular relative to competitive offerings. If applicable, highlight quality
and/or process or material supply certifications and any other points that influence purchase decisions
or reduce business risk.

Competitive and Market Analysis - The market analysis outlines how your chosen industry functions.
For example, if you were selling office supplies, you would explain the supply needs of office workers
in your target market. Describe how large your market is, how your prices are structured, and how you
will remain competitive in your industry.

Sales and Marketing Plan - Your growth strategy is described here. How do you intend to increase
your business in the near and distant future? Discuss expansion plans in this section, as well as plans
to market to prospective clients. What marketing media will you use? What's your budget? Do you
have an offline plan as well as an online plan?
THEIR BUSINESS PLAN MUST
FOLLOW THIS KIND OF FORMAT:

Organization and Management - Here you focus on the structure of your business. How many owners
does the company have? Who will operate the business? How are responsibilities delegated? What
will your promotion and incentive structures be? Many people use charts and graphs to give a visual
representation of these factors.

Financial Projections - Here you express the financial goals for your business. Outline how the
marketing and sales ultimately equate to a profit. Basically, you make earnings and cost predictions in
this section. This is another part of the plan where graphical representation of the information can
really help.
BUSINESS PLAN

The Business Plan must be in pdf form having a format of letter

size and Calibri 12 with 2 line spacing. Margin: Left 1.5 and 1 to the
rest of the sides. It must be uploaded in the GCR. There are
specific parts that will be submitted each week prior to the
compilation of the Business Plan.

March 1 and 2 – “Company Descriptions” and “Product and

Service Offerings”
March 6 and 7 – “Competitive and Market Analysis” and “Sales
and Marketing Plan”
March 8-9 – “Organization and Management” and “Financial
Projections”

table of contents and your executive summary

wherein you will be showcasing your marketing strategies. It
should have at least 7 posts that sums-up your marketing
strategy. And a brochure should be present on the page. A
brochure is an informative document that sums up the qualities
and characteristics of the product that you are selling. Make sure
that it is eye-catchy and can attract customers and even
investors. The deadline for this will be on March 13, 2023.

me as your investor. The presentation will be held on March 15
