    have announced the launch of the Bali Super-Farmer project, which will help local

    farmers keep their land by educating them on a more renewable and long-lasting

    farming methods.

    This project aims to assist farmers in improving their skills and learning useful

    organic farming methods by providing them with quality training and assistance.

    Farmers have the entitlement to use LEISA (low external input sustainable

    agriculture), which implies they no longer have to pay for chemicals, seed, or

    fertilizer.

    The main reason for launching this project was to protect Bali's ecosystems and

    natural beauty from the negative effects of tourism. In other words, farmlands as

    being sold and converted into unprofitable tourism developments, resulting in the

    destruction of Bali’s agriculture.

    The Green Warrior Permaculture and THK project’s main purpose is to train farmers

    to gain new skills and livestock in order to increase profits. The development plan is
    divided into two major stages and is followed by eight vital rules, after which farmers

    sign an agreement to farm in accordance with a set of guidelines and agree to follow

    certification standards.

    The first stage represents the THK training process for several assigned farmers,

    which consists of a transient conversion of their agricultural lands to a productive

    polyculture mechanism. This stage will take 6 months to complete.

    In the second stage the best farmers in the stage 1 serve as field teachers, providing

    live work experience to the next generation of Super-Farmers. The goal is to have

    train farmers for work experience. Farmers are given tools and seeds once the final

    training is completed. THK extension workers will help the new Super-Farmer with

    the design and execution of his organic farm plan.

    The Green Warrior Group is composed of development experts who have worked in

    countries all over the world and have established effective social responsibilities in

    humanitarian work, community engagement, disaster mitigation, and other areas. It

    is well known that they have numerous training courses and programs, as well as

    projects designed for non-governmental organizations.

    Green Warrior Permaculture launched The Super-Farmer project with the lofty goal
