In government bids, there is a complete exemption from earnest money deposits (EMD).

The qualifying MSEs receive Government Tender Sets completely free of charge.

358 categories of goods have been earmarked by the government for purchase from the Small scale units only.

Minimum requirement that MSEs only be used for 25% of all yearly procurement of goods and services made by
union ministries, departments, and PSUs.

NSIC approves a monetary limit for your bid based upon your financials from last 3 years, bigger the monetary
limit approved by NSIC bigger you can bid in the tender.

Enterprises registered under NSIC can quote 15% higher as compared to a non registered NSIC in governemtn
tenders and bids

Earnest Money Deposit or EMD is the money taken from a bidder as the security deposit before any bid, in
order to assure his seriousness in the deal.
However, if a bidder has NSIC registration in the Single Point Registration Scheme, he will exempt from paying
the EMD during a government bid.
All Micro & Small Enterprises (MSEs) having or Udyog Aadhaar MSME
registration.
Those having Enterprise Memorandum (EM) Part-II can also apply for
SPRS.
MSEs that have already commenced production and have completed
one year.
