    Matthew was surfing in California with a friend when he was attacked by a shark. [1] While lying tired on his surfboard, a huge black shape appeared in the water. [2] Matthew shouted to his friend for help but he did not understand. [3] Matthew started to swim very fast away from the danger, trying not to think about it. [4] The shark bit his arm twice but it did not hurt very much. [5] Suddenly, six or seven dolphins swam towards Matthew and made a circle around him, stopping the shark from getting near him. [6] While Matthew was swimming towards the shore, the dolphins kept him safe. [7]
