An emergency evacuation drill was conducted at the OGDCL Uch Gas Field Admin Building to simulate a Class C fire and electric shock scenario. 35 participants took part in the drill which included assembling at muster points within 3 minutes and evacuating the building within 4 minutes. The first aid team responded within 2 minutes and the firefighting team extinguished the dummy fire site within 1 minute. Areas for improvement included the emergency team leaving fire extinguishers at the site after use. No extenuating circumstances were noted and lessons focused on better evaluating drill effectiveness.
