Section One: Introduction: Basic Security Guard Knowledge/Historical Perspectives 1 Hour

provided for in R.A. 5487 as amended and its Implementing Rules and Regulations to include but not

Section Eight: First Aid and Basic Life Support Training 4 Hours
This section provides participants with further knowledge about first aid techniques, rescue and
evaluation.
Objectives:
Comprehend the objectives of first aid, which is to save life, to produce improvement, to
prevent complications, to prepare for medical treatment, and to assist the medical assessor;
Learn and apply the first steps in first aid, and the golden rules of first aid;
To have a basic knowledge in the diagnosis, what to do in case of shock, and bandaging and
other methods employed to stop bleeding.
