Nursing Considerations:
1. Review history of seizure disorder (intensity, frequency, duration, LOC). Initiate seizure precautions. Question prior hypersensitivity reaction. Obtain renal function
test.
2. Observe for recurrence of seizure activity. Assess for clinical improvement (decrease in intensity/frequency of seizures.
