Format of the Olympiad
Each grade has been given a prescribed reading list.
Grades 2 and 3 have to read all 8 books from the reading list.
Grades 4 and 5 have to read all 5 books from the reading list.
Grades 6, 7 and 8 have to read all 4 books from the reading list.
Each book will have a set of questions related to Reading Comprehension, Vocabulary and Book
Dares (book trivia / factual).
Grade 2 & 3 have a total of 4 questions per book (3 Standard questions + 1 Achiever’s
question).
Grade 4 & 5 have a total of 7 questions per book (5 Standard questions + 2 Achiever’s
questions).
Grade 6, 7 & 8 have a total of 10 questions per book (7 Standard questions + 3 Achiever’s
questions).
All Standard Questions are worth 2 points; all Achiever’s Questions are worth 4 points.
