Olivia,
Welcome to belmont school’s basketball team. I hope you enjoy playing with us.
We train after school every wednesday in the gym. We meet at four o’clock and practise until five,
or sometimes five-thirty. bring a drink with you. The gym’s always hot, so we get very thirsty.
On saturday mornings, we often compete against other schools and we usually have to be at
school by nine o’clock. We have to wear our school pe kit for the matches, so don’t forget to take
it home on Friday!
Our coach’s name’s mrs prescott. She’s brilliant! She’s always really proud of us when we play
well, especially when we win! But be careful! She gets angry with students who are late, so you
have to arrive on time.
